Believing is one thing and the burden of proof is another. The investigations was sloppy from the get go. Better to let 10 guilty persons go free because of lack of evidence then let 1 innocent man go to prison.

I have to agree. It seems she was judged by the media to be guilty. The shock here is due to the talking heads who found her guilty before the jury even heard the facts available, just so they could boost ratings.
I am not saying she a good parent or guilt free at all.I find her and her parents behavior bizarre to say the least. I do however think that there just not enough information other then opinion to tell us what really happened here. The prosecutors simply did not have enough proof to prove the case? Shows how bad their judgement can be.
If we are going to judge people based SOLELY on the opinion of others we as a society are in real trouble.
It also seems that 'mews" and "entertainment" have become blurred! It seems some can not see the fact that some personalities and networks are more interested in boosting rates then the truth and accuracy. This would have never been allowed years ago and its a shame that it is allowed now.
My faith in God tells me that someday who ever is responsible will be held fully accountable. We make mistakes HE does not.

It's a damn shame to see how much influence the media has over the American society and way of life. My guess would be that all of this power has already been harnessed.

Recently I read an essay on how the television was designed with the idea of "mind control". I laughed and shrugged it off as I imagined electromagnetic waves leaving the tv and entering ones mind in some sort of hyper futuristic horrorshow. But I missed the point of the essay entirely. The media does control, in a sense, what we see, think, and hear yet it is still up to the individual to be able to to rely on his own mind and decide what to believe and how to respond. It's a shame really. The television has become a tool. And that tool has gone into the wrong hands. I struggle with idea of eliminating the large flat screen TVs from my home but I think it has put my family in an addictive trance.

We had a power outage recently and everyone panicked. "No television? What are we going to do now?" I offered a game of monopoly and even tried to hype up the fun but there was no use. The television went on a few hours later and there was a small celebration.

If I could do it all over again I would have chosen to raise a family with my wife and not with my wife and the help of a television.

I agree. But please keep in mind that every technology has a bad and good side. Whats really important is that all your family members realize and that too. Everyone should listen to what they are being told, and just listen to opposing opinions. Get as much information as you from as many sources as you can before you form your own opinion.
It does seem that people have be led far to much in this country by talking heads and politicians that claim to watching out for there listeners but yet have replaced the facts with their own opinionated version of reality. All while making a real nice paycheck for themselves!!
It's no longer about the the truth and the facts, now its all about the image, politics and the money that can be made.

I agree. It is important to take in all of the information because you might miss something important. As far as politicians go, most of them break there promises as soon as they are elected. I'm not a supporter of Obama but I was hoping that he would end the wars like he promised. He also promised to restore the Constitution and end the Patriot Act. Here we are almost 12 years later fighting an enemy who has no named army, no named country and no officially declared stated. It's like prohibition or more so like the war on drugs. It has no end insight yet robs us blind and creates more crime. Didn't want to run off topic but I'm sure that you see the relevance.

A sad life you say? That statement couldn't be further from the truth. I have a wonderful wife who is a nurse and mother. I own a home and both cars are paid off. My oldest daughter is attending college, my 16 yr old daughter is a performer and musician. She is going to be a junior in an art school and she is attending SCSU for the summer. My 10 yr old daughter is a phenomenal artist and writer. My 2 boys are young (under 7) but so far they have studied some of our better presidents and take an interest in religion, Americana and U.S. History.

I'm not trying to brag but to me, success is not measured in occupation or in gold. I believe success to be carried out through the legacy of being a good father and husband just as my father before me andbhis father before him. I like to think that I carry more weight in my heart than in my bank sack. To be truthful and honest to those around me is important to me even though there is a complete breakdown in society when it comes to holding on to the truth. To help those in need is something my family and I believe to be the building blocks of a strong community. Still even throughout the years I would rather be a sucker that to have made someone else a sucker.

I'm not bragging or going onto some rant. But I am growing bored with the fact that every time I comment or post a useful story you come on to this forum to discourage me from beyond the bowels of a secret identity.

"Secret Identiity Nathaniel Bumppo???" hahaha Whom ever you are... you are such a looser!

Oh it reminds me of a looser who;
...makes things up about people
...posts fabricated you-tube videos about people who has no job
...trolls our community with a hidden video camera interfering with the police who are trying to do their job
...who doesn't own anything but the dirty t-shirt on the looser back ( who paid off the cars and who owns the house.. NOT A LOOSER)
...has more alter-egos than the number of cheseballs the looser eats while home making up fairytales on the loosers wife's computer
...father, we won't go there... but ... never mind we will save that one!
...someone who is a journalist, an investigator, a homeland security employee (what really happened there psyco?) computer analyist, patriot, secret agent, videographer, butcher, baker, candlestick maker!
...lacks any credability
...family must be real proud of all the looser's stellar accomplishments!
...hides behind a computer where it is safe from the cruel world in looser boxers waiting for the cheesdogs to be ready.

It is obvious by your response who ever you are today and your ranting posts that you are a looser who ever you are today...like we said who ever you are..... you are such a looser,,, get a job, go rent and rant some where else or just get a life!

I'm asking on a serious note, do you actually read what you are writing? Is there any reason that you keep attacking me and my family? If you are so bothered by my posts then stop reading them because it seems as though my posts are affecting your psyche. I don't have any clue as to who you are and yet you keep following me on the blog for almost 2 years now. And every time your posts become more absurd. Go follow so done else. I'm married and not looking.

I do not believe Casey Anthony at all. Reminds me of a total hypacrit! Like some people out there who should look in the mirror and question who attacks other people... makes things up try to be a hero, has so many alter-egos it is very scary, fabricated you-tube videos, fairytale blogs, factless rants, trolls the street with hidden video cameras looking to fabricate something that didn't happen, interfers with police officers who are looking for drunk drivers to protect the citizens at DWI roadblocks then calls and compares them to them Gastepo (Now that is a responsible, credible person), claims to be a patriot but then makes fun of other people, fabricates things about people, defends bullies and nuts!

Someone who lives in a rented glass house owned by someone else, sits around all day on the computer should not throw stones! If people don't like the town they live in, rent somewhere else.

Real sad life that some people live and should be ashammed to have taken such a path of unhappiness.

It is always better to be positive, part of a solution instead of creating a problem, do some good for the community instead of looking to create and fabricate issues about good people and good places!

Some people seem to forget those who earn our title are known for their outstanding warrior skills—and their upstanding citizen values. Some people forget that they are an American, responsible for their actions, and dedicated to the principles which made our country free.

Some people talk the talk but then walk a different path!

Since ya can't stop commenting on the video, here it is.

Seymour Police Stop Law Abiding Citizens From Their Travels "to see if they are committing crimes". Sounds like communist tactics to me. Not sure what country you are posting from but here in the U.S. You have to have reasonable suspicion to stop and search someone. Driving a car is not reasonable suspicion or probable cause. The police are the oppressors at DUI checkpoints and they are violating the 4th Amendment in doing so. Anyone who would enact a law which violates the rights of an individual to provide safety to another individual is clearly unAmerican.

How sad the life you live! Such an embarassment! The family must be so proud of you!

Not a good citizen and a lot of others agree!

Schools? What does that have to do with anything? Really? You do need a job! Eat another cheesedog the waist line is looking large!

Great video! Tired of these so called peace officers disrupting the piece. They are no more than tax collectors with badges. What's the name of the cop in the video? You need to post his name so he gets the credit.
