I'm really concerned for the Florida people. First they couldn't figure out a simple voting machine. Then 12 intellectual giants voted to acquit a guilty woman. I bet scott petersen wishes now he had killed Lacey in Florida.

While I believe she is guilty, the government didn't prove "beyond reasonable doubt" that SHE did it.

The jury did what they were supposed to do. She was found not guilty, not innocent. She was involved but there was not enough proof she did it or that she didn't have help.

She was her mother and therefore responsbile for her safety. Caylee depended on her mother for her life and Casey failed her, failed her in more ways than one. As a mother, I would have been hysterical the minute that child was so called missing. How can you let your child down? How could you not protect your child with everything humanly possible, how??? But that is something she will have to live with the rest of her life and answer to God one day.

I think the prosecution was punked by Biaz. By not holdning his lying feet to the fire after he presented such Bullsh!t in opening and closing. That's where the case got off track. Since when are suppositions, conjecture and false accusations called evidence? George Anthony wasn't on trial but he was the focal point of the whole fiasco.

That is why they lost the case and the jury did their duty. As I said before, I believe she is guilty, but the prosecution didn't prove she did it.

the jury never wanted to send this little white girl to prison or to convict her with the possiblity of getting the death penalty. its plain and simple as that. i read recently that in those red-neck states the judge will over rule a juries decision and impose his will regardless of what anyone says.

I read that the members of the jury all wanted to puke because of the verdict, but they just couldn't send this woman to death row on a bunch of theory and circumstantial evidence. The American justice system worked as designed, but their verdict made me want to puke too.

no puking y'all, digusting as it may have been, you to wouldn't have sent the little white girl to death row. say what you wanna say, it wasn't in the cards for her to die, now deal with it.
no justice for little Caylee, her mother murdered her.
its still sad today that the american justnot system broke down based on gender and race.
why haven't you people ranted and railed about how much tax money went into the case, i guess it was worth it considering her pretty little face.

Wrong as usual nothead. She probably does deserve the death penalty, but the prosecution screwed up, which I have tried to explain to you time after time. The jury only did what they were instructed to do by the judge, FOLLOW THE LAW!!!!!

The only racist on Topix in Richmond is you nothead/hammer time/a son of thunder.

All 3 Id’s make the same old deranged statements.

The only thing the prosecution proved was that she is a bad mother and our laws do not permit the death penalty for simply being bad at something. If that were the case then our dear friend “hammer time” would have been executed several times over for the inability to articulate a logical Topix response.
The court of public opinion has certainly convicted her but those arm chair jurors are doing so on emotion and not on any fact or evidence. So I ask these questions to anyone who thinks she should get the death penalty. How did the child die? And what evidence specifically shows that the mother killed the child?

Her mother was one of those "village"idiots that think their mistakes are the responsibility of others to raise.

Obviously, the village said Oh HELL NO too.
