As far as executing "innocents" goes, I don't buy it. If you KNEW you would be put to death for killing another human being, with no game playing, politics, appeals and etc., you'd be less likely to do it. This country is soft, and the criminals are the only people who have rights. Hell, we can't even carry a concealed weapon in this state to protect onesself, but the criminal/convict can. Why? Because he/she don't give a f@ck and has no problem going back to prison. If he/she's even caught.

There should be a mandatory and swift public death penalty for corrupt public officials. Since they are public officials with public trust and power given to them by the people, they should be held MUCH more accountable. Their crimes could affect many people -- even the very future of the country, of us all! Additionally, one bad apple can spread the disease of corruption. If anyone should get the death penalty, it is public officials or police that lie, cheat, steal, or take money to corrupt their sacred duties. Why isn't there a death penalty for corruption?
