No, I don't believe that we should lower ourselves as a society to the level of such a scumbucket. Life without parole, general population works for me.

But, it may not work for the sociopath 0.1 %! They feed on life+20 sentence and encourage eachother to greater violence. Punishment **deters** you ... not Hannible Lector. He loves punishment.

His type oh yes ... society **needs** to put them down. BANG !

0.1% of the US is a lot of people, most of whom aren't killing anyone.

I take that whole "thou shalt not kill" thing kind of seriously. I'm not modifying it for such a low-life; he doesn't deserve that much consideration.

Lock him up, shred the key, and make sure he knows what he did every gosh darn day from here to eternity.

Why should we provide this communist freak free shelter, food, and cable television?! That is exactly what he wants. If you are going to murder people then you must pay the consequences. We know for a fact that he is guilty of murdering six innocent people (including a child) so there is no reason to keep him alive.

If you take "thou shalt not kill" seriously than the law should be enforced. An eye for an eye, if you murder than you die. Let God decide his fate.

I believe in the death penalty but not for those that have been found mentally defective (legal term) at the time of committing an offense. It's just not justice in this case.

If he gave the death penalty to so many innocent people why shouldn't we give it to him who is guilty in this scenario.
