Poland was never part of the European pack. It is an eastern European nation. Poles were looked down in America until the mid-20th century. Other European countries enjoy good wealth.

Europeans have more sense. Look at all the space Americans waste. Our infrastructure is shyt. Just full of waste. Hell, the whole concept of these huge front lawns is stupid. What a waste.

Having a beautiful front (or back) lawn is a waste? Obviously not an outdoor guy, lol.

If it's one thing I can't stand, it's those townhouses. No front yard, no back yard, and no privacy. But.... they are selling like hot cakes in nicer areas. As for myself, there is nothing like a nice large yard to enjoy. The larger the yard, the more I enjoy it. I sit on my back porch all summer long. I make sure I enjoy the nice weather as much as I can. I only wish I could have a larger yard.

If you took a gander at what's going on in England, you would note that the protesters are having riots over government cutbacks and the so-called wealthy in their country. Europe has a smaller corporate tax than the US. In fact, we have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. I remember some time ago, the French protested their government because they took away movie tickets. Their government actually provided their welfare people with movie passes. lol.

If you think Europeans have it so good, try talking to people who live there. Socialism is a great system of government until you run out of other people's money.

Go to a park. lol These yards are just more American waste. They do not serve a function. It's not like people are growing crops on them. They have no time to garden, they are working 10 hours a day to pay for everything.

When I was young, all the people on the block did the flower thing in the yard. I was eight-years old wondering why a bunch of overweight people weren't in the gym taking care of their bodies instead of planting flowers all the time. What a waste I thought.

As for some of those European countries, their credit rating is still higher when compared to ours and we don't have the socialism that they have.

The countries that are successful in Europe limit immigration. They only let the best of the best in. England lets anybody in. France does too. The other countries you don't hear about have tighter immigration so socialism works.

England, France and America will let any idiot come in and set up shop. This may have been okay 100 years ago, but now it is time to start setting the standard a bit higher.

I agree about the immigration - especially now that we have so many entitlement and welfare programs. 100 years ago, immigrants came to work and be free, now it seems they come for all the freebies (a sweeping generalization).
I disagree about having a lawn. I think if people have the land, they should be able to do with it what they want. You may not like lawns, but ask yourself - do you want a free country and private property or not? Then one can have an opinion - but don't dictate or expect some new law to limit the lawn size. The fact that Americans can have lawns and gardens etc. etc. boosts our economy - when people have things to do, they need things, and this means they have to trade with others to get what they need/want. Which creates jobs somewhere. The more we have, can do, and can own, the better for the economy.(this ownership and quality of life is known as the American Dream).
Coincidentally, the immigration you mention used to come to America for that freedom and American dream. But goodness, I agree with you about immigration - if you let third world people into your country, you will end up with a third world nation.

3/7/08 From God The Father - A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
Thus says The Lord to the United States: Obama shall lead you. And by him shall My will and judgment against your nation be fulfilled, for all its forsaking of Me and My Israel...
And so I have brought from among your enemy even one from Ishmael, to rule over you for a time and a season, foreordained, until that foretold is accomplished and the king of fierce countenance rules. Then, by that deception conceived of by your enemy and this transgressor, him being full of lofty and elevated words, lies and dark speeches sold as hope, will it return against him ten-fold of the same, by him called Perdition.
Yet remember this: Nothing exists outside of Me, says The Lord, neither does anything continue outside My will; for even the evil of this present world is set within the confines of My will. For evil acts and brings forth of its own, yet is unaware that nothing is hidden before Me; neither has anything come to pass, nor will be, that I have not already beheld... And this, O arrogant and deceived generation, is why I said,“All was written and completed, even before the foundation of the world.”

For I am God! THE GOD!...

The God of Abraham,
The God of Isaac,
The God of Jacob!....

The God of all!...

Even of all that is known and unknown,
The Creator of all things...
The Everlasting, who is from everlasting to everlasting...

I AM.
