There are plenty of tremendous storylines in Sunday's 96th Indianapolis 500 from Helio Castroneves quest to become a four-time winner, to Dario Franchitti's attempt to win the great race for a third time or Scott Dixon trying to become a two-time winner of this Memorial Day Weekend Classic that is now 101 years old.

IF HISTORY is any guide, Australians Ryan Briscoe and Will Power are poised to challenge for one of the most prized trophies in sport when they line up for the 96th running of the life-changing Indianapolis 500.
