Drug-rob duo deal express shocker

Nine passengers of Howrah-bound Gitanjali Express were drugged and robbed of cash and valuables between Nagpur and Bilaspur stations on Monday night. Strike leaves coal hub thirsty

Over 10 lakh residents of Dhanbad went thirsty for the second consecutive day on Sunday, courtesy an ongoing strike by Mineral Area Development Authority employees. More than 1,500 employees of Mada went on strike since Friday, as a mark of their support to four colleagues - khalasi s Kaushal Kishor Mishra, Nandlal Prasad and Madan Mahto and security guard Fazlur Rahman - who are on a fast-unto-death protest since September 9 to demand implementation of recommendation of the Sixth pay commission.

Four held for extortion in Bengal
