Hundreds panic and rush to be tested as India reports first swine flu death

What a money making scam! We create a flu, and make billions from the shots that will never work!

I have just read the piece about swine flu "panic" and I live in a little old world town called Mysore some three hours from Bangalore.
Swine flu is being played down. Basic primary health care is till no existent in both cities of Mysore and Bangalore.
It is still a tradition here for a man on the street to walk to the nearest chemists and look deeply through runny eyes and the chemist takes one look at the poor sod and prescribes drugs like high potency antibiotics. Ethics? What's that mean? Never heard of that word.
Hygiene is zero. Buses packed and the swine flu virus having a field day. The strain in India is supposed to be a particularly virulent one.
Me, I am heading for the hills, there is one close by. Live in a cave, shoot a rabbit or two since I have father's M 1 Carbine.
You seem to think that bangalore is all IT nerds , its not, there are slums right in the city where people still eke out a living and medical care is out of their reach.
