In its 2013 Atlantic hurricane season outlook issued today, NOAA's Climate Prediction Center is forecasting an active or extremely active season this year.
The 2012 Hurricane Season is in the books.
The Atlantic hurricane season has officially come to an end. This year saw 19 named storms, leaving 2012 tied for third place among most active seasons since records began in 1851.
