Rising crime in Croatia is a serious problem! Tourists will stay away from Croatia, unless crime is addressed. It is a further blow to Croatia's image, as a major tourist destination. In order for Croatia to join the EU, many things have to change. Border dispute between Croatia and Slovenia has been solved to a certain extend, and EU talks are moving forward. Crime, however is a major issue for the EU and Croatia itself.

Crime is at large in every country, e.g Australia a murder almost every day and streets ruled by drug gangs.

Oh please...more murders are commited i one US city,(i.e Chicago or Los Aneles) in one year then all of Croatia over five years. Please, refer to statistical data before posting nonsense.

In addition..re: corruption...The way the US runs it's elections, with unlimited funding of electorol races, the cronyism that goes on after the elections, and not to metion the so called "electorol college" which limits elections to ONLY two parties....ALL these things would be considered illegal and corrupt in Croatia.

Let point out a couple of other items:

1) A US census taket was recently tortured and lynched in Kentucky
2) A Chicago student was recently killed by a gang on scheel grounds.

3) do i need to mention all the mass murders and psycho shootings that go on...going "postal" as we say

4) The president of the US gets a least 25 death threats a day..

Questions: how many of you would walk through Compton, East LA, South side Chicage, South Bronx, Bed Sty.. at 10 oc'clock at night?

It might come as a shock but I agree why do they pick on Balkan countries to no end over incidents that a far less sporadic than in western countries such as the US GB Netherlands Europe etc.
Outside interest groups are once again sowing their seeds of destruction and carrying on only so their minorities get what they want.If the authorities do nothing in this matter then fine label them but if they act perhaps the media should STFU and stop dramatising like they are known to, thats what OK and Hello magazines are for.

I am still waiting for your reply how you think greater serbia can be acheived and the justification of it-

1.Serbs in Serbia only make up 63% of their own population.

2.Serbs have the 4th lowest birth rate in the world as a couple only have 0.83 children.

3.Serbs only make up 4% of Kosovos population and Albanians make up 95%.

4.Serbs only make up 3% of Croatias population and they are the elderly

5.Serbs only make up 65% of Vojvodinas population and Vojvodina itself wants to break away from Serbia.

Then come the historical and scientific reports such as-

1.Serbs in Croatia were documented as being vlah by Venetian,Hungarian,Austrian writers and they were not Serbian as later Serbian propaganda orgs claim them to be.

2.Even in Zeta-Montenegro the so called Serb royal family Balsic is actualy of Vlah origin.

3.Serb place areas in Croatia have Vlah names such as in Croatia-Dalmatia where Serbs live the area was called Vlahia and in "republika srpska" in Bosnia is the large region called Romanija.

4.Not a single piece of evidence such as old Serb manuscipts, stone carvings,artifacts etc have ever been found in the early middle ages in dalmatia. Yet we find alot of Croatian manuscripts and 7century stone carvings from north and south Dalmatia but nothing of the Serbs.

5.The haplogroup of Serbs in Croatia and Bosnia are different to Proper Serbs in Serbia.

Milivoj the reason why you dont answer is because the above are facts.

My advice to you Milivoj is be humble admit the above and stop living in a fantasy.
