The Kings have reached the point of knowing how far they've come while just beginning to grasp how far they still must travel to rank among the NHL's elite.

The Kings were edging closer and closer to a come-from-ahead loss this week, surrendering two-goal leads against the Ducks on Tuesday and the Senators on Thursday before doing just enough down the stretch to win each game.
