Midway takes down Pamlico and moves into 3rd round

The Midway Raiders move into the third round of the 1A NCHSAA playoffs by beating the Pamlico Hurricanes on Tuesday with a final score of 11-3. They will face in-county arch rival Union on Friday at 7 p.m. The Raiders jumped on the scoreboard in the first inning, with Taylor Calcutt at 3rd and Heath Smith on 2nd base as Kyle Hawley came up to bat.
