Whooping Cough News

Parents of Cape Henlopen High School students were alerted May 23 to be on the lookout for whooping cough symptoms in their children after two students were diagnosed with the disease.

Latest figures reveal there have been 136 cases of the disease so far this year compared to 71 four weeks earlier.

Whooping cough has been reported in 15 Weld County schools, where levels of the illness have climbed to the highest in 20 years.
