I have been quite sick with CFIDS/FM for the last 15 years. I still sleep from 10 to over 14 hours a day and have the symptoms of a nasty virus and the whole long list of CFIDS symptoms - those NOT reported but that we CFIDS sick are well aware of. I was saddened to hear that this amazing woman is still this sick and only able to leave the house twice in two years. I pray, for her and the rest of us CFIDS sick, that this study and the follow-on studies do push medicine further into understanding CFIDS and finding a "cure".
I think it is well past time to force the removal of Dr. William Reeves of the CDC/CFS program. He, his associates and contractors (Emory U, Mind-Body Program) and ABT Associates have done NOTHING but waste money and time. Meanwhile, this new clinic - Whittemore-Peterson Institute - has done more in just a few years than the CDC has done in three decades in regards to REAL CFIDS research. So, email your congresspeople, the head of the CDC and HHS (Inspector Generals), and request investigation into Reeves and the CDC/CFS program. I would also send however much money one is able to part with to the Whittemore-Peterson Institute since THEY are the ones moving forward at MACH speeds.

CDC wasted $150 MILLION and THREE DECADES on CFIDS
At last count there were well over 5,000 medical studies done by serious research organizations and researchers throughout the world that showed the multitude of physical problems found in ONLY the CFIDS sick. They have brain scans that show the damage to the CFS/ME brain that are NOT seen in any other brain. They see our strange bloodwork, and the damage to our GI system, endocrine, immune system, joints/muscles, memory/cognitive, balance, and the odd findings in our spinal fluid. Every single part of our sick bodies have been thoroughly studied and found numerous abnormalities in all of those systems and in the extreme. We have been vindicated over 5,000 times with each new serious study that comes along. The only group that demeans us is the US CDC. And WHY? What are they hiding? Is it money or is there another reason they have damaged the CFIDS/ME sick so horribly? WHY is the US government including the NIH and DHHS involved with demeaning us terribly sick people for 3 decades???? Did THEY create this virus and didn't want to be held responsible for it????
The CFIDS community has been screaming for years to Remove Dr. William C. Reeves from the CDC/CFS group and maybe just shut the CDC/CFS program down and give that tiny amount of money to the Whittemore-Peterson Institute. The WPI seems to do a whole lot more with a whole lot less than the CDC did with $150 million over 3 decades.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Aquarius

You will not be satisfied in your work place, but give it some time and things will fall into place. Those in the construction business should get some good news. Aquarian homebodies will find things rather hectic and may develop a headache by the end of the day, so you should avoid negative thinking as much as possible.
