Sparta resident back to snowboarding after scoliosis surgery
An active snowboarder, Sparta resident Jared Muller was a sophomore in high school on vacation in Vermont when his parents noticed his shoulder blades were uneven. His mom started researching and when scoliosis came up as the likely culprit, she immediately scheduled an appointment with Jason E. Lowenstein, M.D., director of the Scoliosis and Spinal Deformity Center at Atlantic Health System.
