What a lack of leadership! You let the K babies make that decision because you have no clue what the right thing is. Pathetic.

Apparently the parents are idiots as well? Seems as a parent they should have known Alex had a problem and sought help or at least inform the school board of his special needs? But, hey,its always someone elses fault right? I do think the teacher should have been more caring and sent him to the main office, called his parents and discussed what was happening, but did they on other occasions?

Although the school DID know this child needed special ed services and so did the parents which informed the school, even if they had not informed the school, it is the schools responsibility to notice and request an evaluation when they see children who need help. It's obviously this child needed services, and this school and teacher failed him.
Aside from that, it wouldn't had mattered if the child had a ASD or not, many children have a hard time transitioning into Kindergarten. What the teacher did was very poor judgement and I certainly wouldn't want my child in her class. I hope she had some stress control classes before she went back to work with little 5 yr olds.

This is exactly why my children will not be in a public school. They will hire anyone!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
