Methadone clinic could cause problems

yeah, now there is an idea, how about people who have accidentially gotten addicted to pain killers,like most who have gotten into the clinic have, let's put them down.see, i go to the clinic, and i was in a bad car accident, and started getting pain medication prescribed to me, and really needed them.when i tried to stop, i was already too far addicted. my addiction was really bad, and i didn't ask to become an addict. that is just the way my life went. see, before the accident, i never did any drugs, and rarely ever drank alcohol.most of the people that go to the clinic, their stories are just like mine.the clinic has changed my life.my life has changed drastically since getting into the clinic.so ignorant people, like yourself, have no idea what you are even talking about.you just wanted to start a thread about the methadone clinic, and obviously don't know anything about it.

I don't believe this crap for one second!! There is not one person I have ever known that has gone to a methadone clinic that it helps, just gives them another way to get high!!

i was addicted to opiates for years and the methadone was the only thing that helped me. dec 27 will make 5 yrs clean

how could you not know you were getting addicted? I know plenty of ppl dont get addicted. What a lame excuse.

Boy, your not a rocket scientist are you? Nice assumption you jumped to by my picture. I have an ideal, read over your post, and make a new assumption using my name. Then put my name and the picture together and you will see why you fail.

And the answer to the question you seek, Once and addict ALWAYS an addict. and at least I am human enough to allow euthanasia. Stoning is just too damn messy anymore.

By the way, watch the movie "Dogma", and you will find out where "Buddy Jesus" comes from.

It does work, if you want it to work! But you really have to want to quit. Methadone is a very hard drug to detox from though. In all honesty, the best way to quit is cold turkey! It's hard, you will be extremely sick, and it's very very painful but IT IS POSSIBLE. I did methadone, it worked for me, but I ended up relapsing not long after. I finally quit cold turkey. I've been clean 3 years in November!!!!

It is only mean because it is truthful. Sorry life is cruel by nature, and I don't make the rules. I only follow them.

and I guarantee, that if you was placed in a situation where you was alone or even had access to more opiates you would go right back to it. You are a slave to them now. You will NEVER give them up.

I go to the Methadone Clinic and it has helped me so much. Now, I see things more clearly and I have my life straightened out. I wouldn't go back to the life of flashing lights and loud noise if someone paid me 1 million! I love my life now and if you've ever been there you know where Im coming from. You know what the difference is. All these ppl on here who act like its just another way to get high are really just uneducated and don't want help! Thats exactly the way I saw things when I was on every fix I could get. I just didn't understand it. But you know, I took that chance and I am so thankful i did. Cause now, I have a newfound way of life! At, least we are trying and not out there on the streets going to jail everytime we go down the road. And we know its there every day and not have to worry if my dealers ran out of oxys or not... So, don't be quick to judge us, cause only God can do that.

I know of people you are talking about. But there are those who are really trying to get help. It's about 50/50. So you are only partially correct.
