I wonder what the Zambians would think about this? I don't think they would be happy if they knew what Hubbard thought about them.

"The South African native is probably the one impossible person to train in the entire world — he is probably impossible by any human standard." –L. Ron Hubbard, PAB No. 119, 1 September 1957, as published in Level 0 PABS (c.1968, The American St. Hill Organization).

"As long as a white foreman is there, they will prevent soil erosion; but the moment that a white foreman turns his back — boo! There goes the whole program.

And you finally get up to the point of where he's [native] supposed to take care of something, a lesson which has never been taught to the native of South Africa." –L. Ron Hubbard, 15th ACC (Power of Simplicity) lecture "Education: Point of Agreement", 30 Oct 1956.

"The insanity rate per capita in South Africa is appalling.…it is easily seen that a primary requisite in any programme of the rehabilitation of the Bantu in South Africa would be mental health." –L. Ron Hubbard, HCOB April 1960, "The Scientific Treatment of the Insane"

"But you take some colored fellow and you'll find him beating a slightly different track. And you'll find in Africans a fantastic amount of heavy space opera and so on going on, that is off this beat, which makes the colored African very, very interesting to process, because he doesn't know why he goes through all these dances and what's happened to him and all of this sort of thing and why he feels so barbarous or something. He hasn't any clue about this. Now he's as capable of as much civilisation as you are. He actualy got pushed around a lot harder because of the environment itself is a ferocious environment or was for many, many centuries because of animals and things like that, which had its own dynamite, you know what I'm saying? So he's running a slightly different track, but it's a track which obeys exactly the same rules and you'll just have to look a bit harder for it. And one day you'll be processing some chap and you'll find yourself processing Chaka or Kataba or somebody of this character and man, you have enough overts on him to last him for a long time. He's just killing tribes off in all directions.[chuckle]. And the military leader who was educated by the Europeans, went back and formed up the regiments of Zulus and so forth and overwhelmed the rest of the race and so on." -L. Ron Hubbard, lecture "Principal Incidents on the Track", First Melbourne Advanced Clinical Course, 1959

"…the Zulu is only outside the bars of a madhouse because there are no madhouses provided by his tribe.… primitives are far more aberrated than civilized peoples. Their savageness, their unprogressiveness, their incidence of illness..." –L. Ron Hubbard, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, Bridge Publications, Los Angeles, 1995

By "working with" they of course mean recruiting as they certainly aren't donating anything to these people. Scientologists like to talk about how they pass out "20 pound bags of food" and other items, yet never add that none of it comes from them.
I also find it very revealing that they are stepping up their efforts in places like Zambia. Obviously they are aware that their reputation in America, Europe and Australia is in the toilet.
"Expanding like never before"! Laughable.

The purpose of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers is recruitment. Period.

Their mandate is to establish "seed groups" in any area they visit. Those seed groups are then supposed to expand, recruiting more and more people. They are supposed to flow money to International Management.

There is never, ever any flow (money, assistance, material) to these countries or "seed groups" from the CoS. There is only supposed to be a flow of income back to International Management.

Hypocrites!

well i Pray the Christian Ministries expose the scientology cult's actual activities over there. We need to write and or call Our Congressmen and Women to investigate all the cult's claims and the cult fronts.

This is an obvious propaganda piece by the CoS. And as with all of their propaganda, it's a pack of lies.

Especially when you know that Hubbard offered aid to the apartheid government of South Africa.

Then there's his vierws regarding black people anyway, which Catnarok has covered quite nicely.

Did you know that Jesse Prince started out as one of Hubbard's household servants?

Just an interesting tid-bit.

Doesn't surprise me.

You only have to read Jesse's affidavit to see how badly he was treated:
