Cheap heroin is not killing these children. What is killing them is the vastly differing dosages you get because drugs are illegal.

You want to solve the problem of people overdosing? Make drugs LEGAL and start standardizing the dosages so that no one accidentally overdoses anymore.

yes, drugs are killing kids but misguided parenting and improper drug education leads to disaster. parents should also stand by their kids if informed of their addiction and not dessert them in their time of need. faith and belief in yourself and in conquering the addiction are also vital.....to all heroin addicts.....be strong. there is always light at the end of the needle. ro. ex-heroin addict

What I really want to know is why would anyone want to try the stuff anyway. Its drummed into our heads from an early age that all drugs are dangerous so why try it.

Everyday I see more & more addicts on the street.
I have being using Heroin for 2 years now & it is Hell. Take my advice never experiment with Heroin because Heroin is like a Beautiful Chick she F... you, not the other way around. Juan From Pretoria

Drugs are for weak people no sympathy! In the wild weak animals get picked out and taken out!In human life we self destruct, no sympathy! Drugs are mostly for very selfish people!

it's constantly pushed on us that "all drugs are pure evil". when in fact all drugs are not pure evil. many of them are used as medicines. So when kids grow up and find out that everything their teachers and parents told them turns out to be either over exaggerated or flat out wrong. The begin to wonder, what else were the teachers and parents wrong about?

In the wild the sick animals die, do we let our sick die? no. people make mistakes and they deserve our compassion and help.

My son is a heroin addict and one would think that the death of a close cousin would shock him back to reality. But with drug-addicts it doesn't work that way! They become like monsters -- and their entire lives revolve around how and when to get their next fix. By the time they start screaming for help, they have already stolen their parents, family, friends, and loved ones blind. Then they cannot understand why no one can afford the R4500 per month required for rehab!!! There is no such thing as a “good” drug. Heroin is the worst kind. Once it has you in its grip --- you’re fucked for life, and only God can help you. If you don’t believe that – well then you’re simply going to die a miserable death. As for the drug dealers out there, you scumbag murderers of our kids!– I have this to say to you:“You’re time will come too and God help you if our paths ever cross!” There -- I feel much better now! Daily Horoscope for May 23

Pisces

It's a big change today after yesterday's combustible atmosphere and you're feeling more relaxed and understanding. You're even prepared to forgive someone for what you thought yesterday was a heinous crime, and ready to give them a second chance. However, let's hope that this person deserves your goodwill and is grateful to receive it.
