I thought this was a very good album. In ways it seems less hard rock then what I remember but I love it. I would buy it if I were you.

Ok. I partially retract my original statement.
It's a good album if you're into Nickleback and other such "radio-friendly" rock, just with more swearing.
But for those who enjoyed the likes of Needles, driven under, or Because Of me, stay clear

I thought that this was a pretty good album to be honest but a bit main stream. Some of Shaun's lyrics is a bit below par but all in all I enjoyed this album

Definately not a great album. Sounds a bit forced to me. Maybe they are just trying to rack up the records according to contract.

Vic's full of shit it's good album... Music changes as they change, that showz that they're writing their own music... And they're talking about the bullshit and shallowness in entertainment... Atleast it's real shit...

Really? If you guys were "true" fans of Seether you'd agree that their latest album isn't as well written as their last two. Yes, there are a few songs that are "okay" but the majority blow. I'm just being honest, don't follow the crowd kids. I'd give this album a decent 7 at the most. Shaun Morgan could have given more effort to this album, but sadly he didn't. However I still believe they'll comeback with a great album soon enough. This is "my" opinion, if you don't like it, I could honestly careless. And I thank you -bows- Haaaaa~! By the way Shaun sounds rather "Chad Kroeger-esk" on "6 Gun qouta." You know he does. SHAUN!!! Find your own rock persona.

Agree with Val. Their latest album is not very great, too mainstream, too "radio-friendly" as mentioned above - the original Seether spirit is gone. Some of the tracks sound similar like the sh*tty and overproduced Linkin Park albums.

Seether, go back to your roots and make music like in Karma&Effect and Fragile. Crush any influence from the major labels, they're only interested in making money short term. Making money is important and I hope you'll become mega rich, but don't sacrifice your true spirit your true and loyal fans become attached to over the years.

Look at Tool, they are totally doing their thing without letting major labels mess around with their music.

by the way.. Karma and Effect was made for a radio friendly cd... and most the songs where singles.. or my very mainstream gf liked it.. she dislikes the new cd.. oh and she loves Nickelback and Slipknot so don't say she don't know the stream lol

honestly the new c.d. broke my heart. i love karma and effect and disclaimer but the new one is way too mellow and not at all like the others. two words: no balls. i hope and pray that seether comes out with something better soon because they do have mad potential.
