Zimbabwe has been a watershed for Thabo Mbeki's governance. A lot of people who used to like him now don't. The man's credibilty is all but gone.

Tutu would be my choice for mediator. I'm sure Bob would still be embarking on his madness but at least the mediator would have some level of objectivity.

Yes Gerry, we should test the reflective power of peoples skins. No more light skinned blacks. Only dark skinned ones. All light skinned people including half castes, and those with Arab blood to be removed from Africa. We must breed a new super race of blacks with dark hands and feet palms. However Mugabe has caused immense suffering to many of his own black people I recently saw picutes on the news here in the UK where people were brutally beaten and burned the reason becuase they voted for the opposition and all the victims shown were black, Mugabe's opponents have suffered harrassment,intimation and torture even BEFORE the election and it has been going on for a long time Mugabe has also ruined the infrastructure and economy of Zimbabwe and many if not most Zimbabweans are now starving as a result. Mugabe is a tyrant just like idi Amin.

As you're British it makes sense for you guys to want to hail Nelson Mandela as your hero. I mean it's because of Nelson that the British were allowed to hang onto their mine ownerships in South Africa and it's because of those mines that people like you can afford to sit at home.

The mine money (the dole) makes it easy for the British to support all it's people that doesn't work.

I see you're struggling to visualize the concept of the the type of forum system, that Topix uses.

You're thinking of the different forums as of being in different rooms. Well it does not work like that.

If I for instance, access a thread about Martians (the little red planet) that thread, although it was initially only on the Martian Topix forum ,would now (based on my location) also become part of the African forum, or wherever I happen to be.

As I am currently in Africa that Martian thread would now also become part of the African forum, so that when you access all the African threads it would also be listed there and so it works for all the threads on Topix.

I trust you understand now and would like to point out to you, that to want to apply apartheid to the internet is riddiculous.
