Air-bus the Yugo of aircraft companies

I can only imagine what kind of maintenance that plane had been getting in Yemenia. That country's airline would be better off flying old B-727's. Having them operating Airbus equipment is like taking a Formula 1 racecar to a back yard mechanic to have it worked on. Of course there is always the very good possibility the vertical stabilizer came off in flight. Airbus is probabally hoping the black boxes stay lost forever to save them from grounding their fleet. Notice how quick they were to release the safety record of the aircraft to draw attention away from all of the other problems the aircraft has in it's design. It ought to be interesting what excuse they will offer for the crash next.
