I am afraid many people do understand the yemeni culture. In many parts of yemen, particulrly in rural areas, young girls are married at childhood age (from 9 onwards)it is cultural and the absence of education in these parts and the weak legislation in yemen encourages this phenomenon. Though being a yemeni, I stand against these practices but time and education are important factors to let such practices to disappear.
