My googler says Yemen means "south" but if that is true, then the Yemenis must originate in Northern Arabia. I have found a word that may be the origin of Yemen; Yumnaat. Does this word mean "south"? Also, does anyone on this forum know what "Tihama" means? Thank you for any reply.
