David Scott BentleyI am so glad that I found this forum so that I could express my condolences to the Bentley family. I know David and his Tacoma/Gig Harbor family and haven't found any info about a local memorial. So I do hope those of you reading this post will know that you are in my prayers and in the prayers of many of us here in the Northwest.
God be close to you now. With love, Elizabeth
David, a son, brother, husband, father, and friend. One sold out to adventure… full of passion and relentless with optimism; he never sat down to dine with fear. On October 29th,
2009, at age 45, he passed from this life to embrace the greatest Treasure of all. Born in Tacoma WA on April 28th, 1964, David was a resident of Tacoma/Gig Harbor and later St.
Croix VI. At each destination, David harvested an abundance of memories as he was great at cultivating an atmosphere of celebration. Whether racing down the powdery slopes of the Pacific Northwest, sailing through the beautiful waters of the Caribbean, or setting off in his plane to dance with the clouds, he mastered the concept of “Live each day to the fullest.”
David is survived by his wife, Teri (Hughes) Bentley, his children, Lexi, Beau, and Dane Bentley, along with one great grand child, Kailani Bentley. His father and step-mother, Lorne and Linda Bentley, his grandmother, Liv Lee, and sisters, Susan Hoskinson and Sonja Olson, step-children, Jordan, Janae, Julianna, and Jenna Hughes. David, you will be greatly missed.
