In the present economic climate in France, and with Hollande's socialist/protectionist government, that wouldn't surprise me.

Speaking of the Alps, that ''spooky'' death of the Iraqi scientist and his family there has gone awfully quiet hasn't it?

Not only that, wasn't the chap on the bicycle also a scientist?

Gone awfully quiet.....

There is no such thing as French jobs for the French, British jobs for the Brits or Italian jobs for the Italians, when we all belong to an economic zone that allows free exchange of goods, capital and labour across Europe. There are no borders in the EU, we are told.

Little protectionist measures are for bigots who haven't understood that yet!

I wish even civil servants in Britain (like you) had to compete against other Europeans seeking their jobs.

We all have to compete comrade. The only thing is that ethnic minorities, like the ones you champion stand a better chance in the public services now whether they're capable or not.

I've got a good position in the public services, one that is unlikely to be culled in the government cuts but even I couldn't compete against a paki if my job did come up for
re application because it is not PC to deny an ethnic a job. Now that would keep the likes of Stalinists like you happy, wouldn't it.

We cannot abandon "free exchange" until we have left Europe.

In any case, leaving the EU will not mean severing ties with the European economic zone; it will only mean that Brussels cannot impose laws upon us. UKIP is against European federalism, not against Europe.

For more information, read UKIP manifesto.

Why is it that when I mention competition agaisnt other Europeans, you mention Pakistanis? Is Pakistan in Europe?

You are obsessed with Muslims, aren't you?

No, there are other Europeans who could take civil servants jobs in UK. At present, they are barred.

Yes, I would be very happy to see the civil service in UK culled, and open to foreign competition. I would be very happy to see your protected jobs challenged by other European citizen. There is nothing Stalinist about wishing for an efficient administration and stop privileges.

Why? UKIP are racists, that was proven by a UKIP family wanting to adopt and foster.

I have no problems with Europeans coming in and taking jobs comrade, so long as they are the right people that have the right skills.

I do however have a problem with pinching foreigners from third world countries and bringing them here to work in certain professions when we could train our own to do the same jobs. These other countries need their professionals themselves. Now that is selfish indeed isn't it?

I don't find UKIP racist, and I certainly wouldn't support a racist party.

But if the keep it up, they will have my vote next time, that's for sure.

You may not but the doo-gooder socialists certainly do Rio, and their opinions are the only ones that matter in todays PC society.

Both are losing votes to UKIP, and that concerns them.
A few hundred thousands switching votes nationwide can bring UKIP is a very interesting position.
It will probably bring the Toris to rush some new policies towards Europe, so that can't be bad.

You care enough that anyone who does not agree with you should be arrested and the key thrown away. That makes you closer to the socialist camp than you care to admit.

I never said that!

I said that anyone using the anonimity of social media to commit offenses should be identified and prosecuted.

If verbal abuse, incitation to racial of religious hatred in the streets are arrestable offenses, I don't see why the same rigour cannot be brought in social media (Twitter, Facebook, forums) against the people who indulge in such anti-social activities.

That is what I said, and I start to see that some people are being arrested sporadically for commiting such offences.
Facebook and Twitter have been made to reveal the identity of some offenders, for them to face justice. It's only a start.

Anyone that's stupid enough to say something on Facebook deserve everything they get if it's meant in such a way. How often have you said something in innocence that's been taken as racist, homophobic or just generally offensive where none is meant in every day conversation Rio?(Not on here)

liberal lefty fascism.
That's a contradiction in itself!
How can anyone be liberal, left-wing and facist at the same time?
In case you don't know, leftties and fascists are at opposite ends of the political spectrum, and liberals roughly in the middle.
