No, the Poles are OK. Good values, hard workers, good ethics, etc...
They have been an asset since they came in our country.
At the workplace, they also gave a reality check to the lazy Brits!

Oh hang on, some people will accuse me of generalising; maybe they see themselves among the lazy Brits. LOL

And again, Ronan demonstrates his bigotry, seconds after boasting on another thread that he's not a bigot whilst calling everyone else a bigot.

There's no bigot like a doubly bigoted bigot like you, Ronan.

So, how do you feel about the Poles, that's what this thread is about.

Are they in your line of fire as well, as all the other foreigners?

Haven't you been able to find something juicy to slur with them like you do to other ethnics?

Are they all on welfare too? Are they all scroungers? Have they tried to 'impose' their culture on you too? LOL

Poles are fine. I've got no problems with them at all.

And I don't slur anyone. I say what I see, and I see a very twisted individual when I read your posts.

Well, at least one non-English group of people you can suffer!

Are there more?

If I say "the lazy Brits", it doesn't mean that all the Brits are lazy, but that some are. So how can that be bigoted when it's the truth about a fraction of a group?

If you had said 'chavs' or 'some' then I couldn't argue with that, but the fact is you have quite deliberately sought to tar English and British people with racist lies, and you have the audacity to then posture as some morally superior, prejudice-free, Mr Perfect.

You're a silly wally. You really are.

You knew perfectly well who I was refering to, but you chose to pick up the meaning that suits you best: typical Tripod I say. Unnecessarily argumentative and bolshy!! LOL

Are you a chav? You sound like one!

When you say "lazy Brits" one assumes you mean as a whole entity. You have not qualified your remark, hence one could take it that you are indeed anti-British. Are you?

You think I sound like a chav?

Is this another of your 'honest' opinions?

How can I be anti-British? I am one of them.
But I have high expectations of my people, and I don't like people who let the side down by counter-productive attitude or silly actions.

You must have remarked that those who complain the more are those who often feel challenged in their comfort zone by individuals or groups more motivated than them.

I can take it very well indeed, and deal it back whenever I like. You know that by now, Ronan.

I dont think ronans post sounded anti-british at all. He talking about Polish peeps giving a reality check to the 'lazy brits!', not all brits just the lazy ones lol. He said hes not generalizing. We all know some lazy brits but I'm sure we all know some very hard working brits too!

In regards to the question at hand - Are there too many Poles in the UK?
Didnt some of them start going back to Poland?
Well first of all I think atleast they are not illegal immigrants and they do pay taxes etc. Secondly I got a thing about some foreigners getting jobs in the UK, whilst theyre here sure they will put money back into the economy, but in some cases where they go back home with their earnings I dont like it lol. They earned it and they have a right what to do with it but still.
I worked with fair few Polish people before i got my own business and they are nice people and do work hard. I suppose for alot there was a language barrier in the way of some aspects of integration into society, things like that take a little time to overcome.
I'm sure that most the Polish people that will/have settle(d) in Great Britain will be good for their local communities and the country overall.

Would you consider yourself a good motivator?

I find a positive approach works best, rather than running people down. If you tell people they're shite, they start believing it somewhere along the line. I'd rather get people to believe in themselves and see their potential.
