So by your implication, targeting civilians with rockets is also justified.
Sheesh, muslims aren't my favourite bunch around, but even don't I support innocent civilians being killed.
What a horrible, angry man you are!
Most decent people defend resistance against oppression, whichever forms itv takes.

That's how mankind evolved, dictatorships were destroyed, tyranny abolished, and democracy brought to the forefront. That's why Libyans revolted against Gaddafi, Syrians against Assad, etc...

Picking up unsavoury details to serve your particular agenda shows that you aren't in favour of justice. You have chosen your side; now live with it.

Yes, the struggle for justice is ugly, but what matter is the end result. Nobody condemned the Yugoslov partisan who knived an German soldier, or the Libyan teenager who shot Gaddafi, or the man who planted a bomb in Zia's plane. Well, you perrhaps?

In fairness though, people having rockets fired at them doesn't count as ''oppression''.

''Oppression'' is according to the Oxford English Dictionary:

Definition of oppression

noun
[mass noun]
prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or exercise of authority: a region shattered by oppression and killing

the state of being subject to oppressive treatment: a response to collective poverty and oppression

No Dubbadub, there's nothing cruel or unjust about launching multiple rockets at civilians every day for the past decade.

now why would rio choose not to answer such a simple question,do you think?
surely he would not make up such a thing as a "UN resolution"
but all you have to do rio is tell us the number of this resolution.

so what is the number rio?
why are you so evasive?

Any nation has the right to defend itself when being attacked, espically from rockets.
Hamas is nothing more then a 'gang' of terrorist and thugs. Their interest is not the people of gaza, that is only a cover front.
Their interest is the destruction of isreal, at all cost, even at the destruction of other muslims, even the middle east itself.
Say for instance israel was defeated and exzisted no more, what then?
Hamas would then aim for the west, its their nature, destroy all that is different.

I agree wholeheartedly. There cannot be peace while Islam exists in the way it does. hatred is inbred into the religion

Resistance to oppression is justified.
Maybe you don't acknowledge it as such, but it's accepted by any decent person.
That's how people in Europe fought against the NAZI oppressors.
That's how people revolt against tyranny, invaders, totalitarism, etc...
If we applaud it in other parts of the world (like during apartheit, under dictatorship in Chile, Argentina), why can't you accept that the same conditions exist for Palestinians?
That Palestinian woman didn't try to stab that Israeli soldier to steal his mobile, did she? No, it was all part of a justified struggle against Israeli oppression. It was a political gesture, and I support that.
you utter total claptrap. You are a disgrace to the nation that brought you up. You have the morals of a urine soaked jam-rag.

Its hardly been everyday. Its tit for tat along the Gaza border. The Israeli's have just as much to do with it. There are many liberals in Israel who also speak out against the treatment of the Palestinians.

Anyway the Israeli's and Palestinians MUST be forced to the table. But thats not going to happen as the US has a vested interest in the region.

Anyway, had the Israeli's done business with the much more moderate Fatah (who were for decades the biggest force in Gaza), then Hamas wouldn't be in power. In a way, Israel have created this mess (Hamas ruling Gaza) for themselves.
