Most English men are hideously ugly and deformed and do not take care of their personal hygiene, is it because they are too lazy or have not been told to take a shower when the sun comes out? They also have no cultural interests other than football, tabloids, horseracing and pubs. The women aren't much better, they seem unable to think past their next heat magazine or episode of emmerdale and most have kids to use as a meal ticket.

Most English people wouldn't describe travelers in such a way, let alone the whole nation. Maybe there are some in the English society that are similar to that that you describe, but it certainly does not describe any one that I know. You need to find yourself some manners mate!!!

I believe that there is a very wide divide between rich & poor, & that the majority of working class people are becoming poorer, as those sat on benefits are becoming increasingly better off. Why? IMMIGRATION, that is why.
We are trying to stay afloat, whilst our taxes are being used to give YOU what ever you want. Is this the fault of the English man? NO. It is the fault of the Government, & whilst they are in power, these divides will begin to widen.

I was born & raised as an English man & I live by the belief that there are good & bad amongst us all, despite race or religion. That you seem to think the type of person you may see on Jeramy Kyle reflections us all, is an insight into your narrow mindedness & your shear ignorance. That you choose to believe that neither the Government nor the immigration crisis that we have in our once great country isn't a contributer to the downward spiral, that you say you witness is also a reflection of your narrow-mindedness.
I have a successful business, whereas my brother lives on the benefit system, after being made redundant after the firm that he worked for moved abroad. He has tried to seek work, but the ones that he goes for are generally taken up by Polish immigrants. He lost his house & has to pay maintenance to his 2 small children. He desperately wants a job, the longer he stays on the dole the more money he owes to his ex-partner. You obviously haven't a clue what you are talking about.
The trash that is printed in the papers or screened on TV is just that, trash. If you want to view this as a reflection of the society that we live in, thats up to you, but I tend to walk around without my blinkers on, if it's all the same to you!!!

Probably true, who knows.
It just really gets my back up when people that are obviously not British, but live here call our country. None of these people are at liberty to stay. If they really believe that this is such a rubbish country they should go back to their country of origin. Another interesting point is that the majority of people leaving the country are white British people. They leave to go to places such as the USA & Australia. They have to have a job ready for them when they arrive. They don't tend to become a burden on the society in which they emigrate.
You don't see a lot of Asians & blacks moving to these countries, is this because, it is they that don't like to work for a living?

However, this article is about the nature of the British as written about by four intelligent and perceptive English guys. When I go abroad I always go for a Rough Guide (and occasionaly a Lonely Planets). They are pretty dammed reliable, and miles in front of the gutter press, even most of the broadsheets, when it comes to impartial reporting on the state of countries. Each country needs to look at itself critically to correct mistakes. There is an important point bursting to get out of post #33 above. The quality of the media and the TV reflects greatly on society, there is a mutual feedback, in fact I would say the media actually drives the appearance of society. If the media stincks, then its the same as putting your kids in a school with degenerates as teachers. Do you keep the kids at that school, do you get them the f@ck outta there, or do you change the teachers.

The point is, the government are in the same position with the media as you would be with the school. A large part of society are showing chronic symptoms, does a government of the people for the people do something or not?

You mention Australia, and many think of it as a mirror image of Old Blighty with sun, populated by Ockers in vests swigging beer all day. That's a quaint image, but if you go there nothing could be further from the truth. Britain is lagging well behind. And it's not even anything to do with can they work, will they work. A lot of people here are just losing the plot comletely.

I'm not British by the way. Although I was born here, and have a fair amount of allegiance. I'm Polish, and well aware of a lot of cr@p about the Poles that is being writtem on here by the 25% we have talked about. The sad fact is for those Brits is that the Poles will move on. White Brits are leaving at 700 a day - to Spain, the USA, and Australia. Londoners and others from "diverse" big cities are leaving for the country , to Wales, and other "un-diverse" and "non- vibrant" places. You all know why.

You know, I actually agree with you, on most of your points. I guess you have put into perspective the points that others have tried, but have failed, due to their obvious hatred for the British people. What the media reflects should not be a reflection of our society at all, as you know, it is not the whole nation that decides what is aired on the TV or printed in the tabloids. Though there are some truths there!
It is difficult for the British man/woman not to have some resentments towards immigration, due to the points that I have made in previous posts. I think that most of us would be happy if the system was a fair one, but political correctness & positive discrimination mars our society, & creates bitterness.
As a business man, I have seen a rise in my taxes to almost crippling point. Had I have started my business 30 years ago, I would not have to worry about finances. As it is I live in a small terraced house, support my wife & 3 small children to the best of my ability. A meal out is a real treat, & christmas a real struggle. My children go to a local Primary which is also struggling ( I am a governor there) with finances because of the increase in children who attend who do not speak English. This means that the money spent on these children is not being spread across the class room. This then means that the English speaking children are getting a sub-standard education, which could possibly have a dramatic affect on their future learning, & their ability to gain qualifications & therefore a job. In the future this could have a dramatic effect on the work place & so more foreigners will be drafted in & the pattern continues. This then I believe is a real threat to our society & of huge significance to this debate. Truth is the average Brit, cannot prosper whilst the immigrants continue to pour in. It's a vicious circle.

I'm glad that you agree with most of what I say. In a way many of the arguments are to do with perspective ... unless of course there is a political agenda, or emotions such as hatred start clouding rationality.

There is a lot to learn by expoloring why the lower end of a once very civilized nation has started to fall into such a retrograde slide. Frank and honest exposure of national short coming are painful to do, and nationalists are too emotianlly screwed up to even attempt such a task. However, if done with a positive attitude to learn lessons and improve it can be massively beneficial. Politicians are scared because of losing populist votes ....

.... Note this well ... those whom will try to gain control will always do so by promising to give the people what they want! Populist techniques are the shroud of the deceitful and wicked. What technique would a paedophile use to attract school kids?

Change of subject: schools/foreign kids etc.

If a school is short of resources then almighty hell must break loose to ensure the councils and government gives of the budget what is necessary. This is the top priority budget expenditure of this country.

If the Labour government sees that the influx of immigrants will ultimately be beneficial to the UK, then it has to ensure that the infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, surgeries are adequately financed as this is an investment for the future.

I know from my own experience that Polish parents and kids put a lot of effort into their kids schooling. They will make sure the kids pay attention in class and spend time with the kids at home with homework etc. From my own example, by choice my own parents taught me polish up to the age of 5 and so when I went to school I had zero english. One year later all was hunky dory.

However faced with a class of say 15 foreign kids of mixed nationality and 10 english kids, then that sounds a difficult situation to be in. Parent helpers are one answer. With highly ethnic communities, the immigrant parents need to do much to make it work. I will also admit that if I had my kids in that sort of a situation I would also worry, perhaps move. I don't have enough perspective to comment on that one.

But for sure, I would never compromise my kids education or their playtime/childhood. They are only young such a short time, and their formative years are worth all the fortunes in the world. So many bright kids are born into shitty chavvie families that deny them their fair crack at the whip ... good or bad schooling nonwithstanding.
