The number of Brits arrested in Spain and France has soared.

Foreign Office figures also show an increase in British arrests in Cyprus, America and the United Arab Emirates.

The figures cover April 2006 to March 2007. There were 2032 Britons arrested in Spain - 32 per cent more than in 2005-6 and the highest number of any country visited.

Arrests in France rose 42 per cent to 153.

Nearly 700 British visitors to Spain needed to go to hospital and there were 29 rapes of Britons in Spain.

There were also 28 rapes in Greece and more than 600 Brits needed hospital treatment.

In Feb 2008, a British national was detained for five days, a day after he urinated at Latvia's Freedom Monument in the capital Riga. Many Latvians regard the monument as a symbol of their nationhood. "Those English are pigs...One hoggish nation," Interior Minister Mareks Seglins was quoted by the Leta news agency as saying about the latest incident involving a British tourist.

In Nov 2006, a British tourist bore the largest fine of 810 lats (1,676 dollars) for urinating on the monument while his friends took pictures of him.

In Jul 2007, another British citizen was fined 50 lats for urinating at the monument while intoxicated.

Latvia runs out of patience with boozy British tourists

Britons on stag parties to the Latvian capital, Riga, will not be welcomed with open arms, according to its mayor. The city has run out of patience with unruly British tourists who head there for boozy breaks, putting off other potential visitors, the mayor, Nils Usakovs, has told a Latvian magazine.

Usakovs told Rigas Laiks magazine: "The only problem is that we have a large share of those British tourists. If we also had other tourists, then British visitors who piss about all the time would not be as noticeable. Let's not be politically correct – unfortunately, this is their speciality."

A spokeswoman for Usakovs said Riga's problems started with the arrival of low-budget airlines. "The British first started to make bachelor parties, and the most popular thing was using our monument of liberty as a toilet. We have a stigma about British tourists. They are probably not the ones we want to see," she said.

British backpackers spreading STDs in Australia

A study by researchers at the University of New South Wales has found British travellers could be driving the spread of sexually transmitted infections in Australia, with a survey showing most of them have triple the number of partners than they have at home - and many are not using condoms. A survey of 1008 backpackers at hostels in Sydney and Cairns found many were having sex with multiple partners - including those who were in a relationship when they arrived...

British tourists love drunken debauchery

British tourists are quickly becoming known as problem travelers, according to a lengthy feature in the New York Times. Apparently they've gained a reputation for drunken tomfoolery at major resorts around Europe, and many resort owners are fed up.

Some blame traveling packages that use cheap booze and uncouth behaviour as selling points. Others in the article put the blame on a certain British 'emotional discomfort.'

They are the ones, the locals say, who are carousing, brawling and getting violently sick. They are the ones crowding into health clinics seeking morning-after pills and help for sexually transmitted diseases. They are the ones who seem to have one vacation plan: drinking themselves into oblivion.

"They scream, they sing, they fall down, they take their clothes off, they cross-dress, they vomit," Malia's mayor, Konstantinos Lagoudakis, said in an interview. "It is only the British people - not the Germans or the French."

Malia is the latest and currently most notorious in a long list of European resorts full of young British tourists on packaged tours offering cheap alcohol and a license to behave badly. In Magaluf and Ibiza, Spain; in Ayia Napa, Cyprus; and in the Greek resorts of Faliraki, Kavos and Laganas as well as Malia, the story is the same: They come, they drink, they wreak havoc.

"The government of Britain has to do something," Mr. Lagoudakis said. "These people are giving a bad name to their country."

Drunk Brits get Crete arrest for nun prank

How many people actually dress up as nuns when they get drunk?

In Crete, the answer was "17" recently. That's how many drunk British tourists were arrested for insulting the Catholic Church. After a bit of extra imbibing, they donned "nun attire and naughty lingerie," which didn't sit too well with the local cops.

The tourists were busted in Malia, which is a popular destination for the young, drunk and rowdy. Even seasoned resort-town resident, who've probably become immune to the stupidity that tourists bring, have limits, it seems.

The penalty is most likely to be a fine.

Source: http://www.smh.com.au/travel/travel-news/tour...

After spending the night in jail wearing the lingerie they were wearing when they were arrested, the men have all been set free. Moreover, since no one showed up to testify that they had been upset by the tourists' bawdy conduct, the court dropped all charges.

Turkish gentlemen..??

There’s a story in VG (Norwegian newspaper) today about the increasing number of rapes, of Scandinavian women, that are taking place in Alanya, a popular holiday resort in Turkey, at the moment. Last Wednesday a twenty one year old Norwegian women barely managed to escape an attempted gang-rape by a group of local Turkish men. The woman was, according to the paper, approached by a mini-cab driver while waiting in a taxi queue outside a popular nightclub in the city centre. Just seconds after getting into the car, three men jumped into the mini-cab and pressed her to the floor. The car then sped off, stopping when it reached a desolate area on the outskirts of town. She was then dragged out. Fortunately, she managed to fend of the attackers and flee before the thugs succeeded in raping her. A Swedish woman, was however, not that lucky. She was raped the following evening. The attackers followed the same approach in this incident. The nineteen year old woman was lured into a mini-cab, where she was overpowered and taken up to the mountains, where she was beaten and raped by two males. The woman told the paper, that she was convinced that they were going to kill her.

A Turkish police officer who doesn’t want to give his name, tells the newspaper that such incidents have become commonplace in the region. When asked if its safe for Scandinavian women to visit Alanya, he retorts that there is nothing to worry about. He tells the paper that the majority of these incidents really shouldn’t be classified as rapes at all, and that the women themselves are to blame. He goes on to say that the liberal values of the girls.

When are we going to do something about moroccan girls who have become world wild prostitutes. Why is it that most women who leave morocco never try to find a decent job but prefer to sell their bodies for easy money. When will moroccan men stop sending their daughers and sisters outside of morocco knowing they will surely be prostitutes?
This has to stop.
it's quite worrying and i really don't know why in most paris café shops and bars the majority of prostitues are morrocan girls, i think morrocan, algerian and tunisian people have almost the same habits, history and education so why prostitution in foreign countries is more a morrocan concern than an algerian or tunisian one, why is this, what did we miss in our education? it's a question I've been asking myself since I live in Paris and see these facts myself.

Drunk British Tourists Gone Wild

While normal visitors are busy doing boring things like scuba diving and "eating breakfast", the British are showing us what the fun holiday activities really are: vomiting in the street, stumbling from balconies, getting horribly maimed, and dying of alcohol poisoning. With this sort of vacation magic, their last words surely were "Tally-ho!"

This is what happens when the Brits get drunk:

- Two drunken British girls tried to beat an airline stewardess with a bottle of vodka and then attempted to force the airline's emergency exit hatch open while in flight. They claimed that they "needed some air";

- In 2006, 1,499 Brits died due to alcohol abuse and over 2,000 were arrested in Spain;

- After a night at the clubs, a twenty-something British tourist excused herself and returned to her hotel room, where she gave birth. No one knew she was pregnant, and the hotel was certainly not the place to secretly birth a child.

SEX TOURISM IN CAIRO

She doesn't look like a classic madam. About 50 years old, Hagga lives in a simple flat in the chic Cairene quarter of Muhandisin. Her black abaya (cape and headscarf) evince a more traditional outlook. Even her language is full of religious references. "Tomorrow you can have two girls, God willing. For the furnished flat you have to pay extra. May God make it easy for us.''

Summer is the peak season for the business of furnished flats, complete with a "housemaid'' who can come at any time of the day or night and in any shape, color or size. That is when the khaligin--the Gulf Arabs--invade the city looking for cool air and a hot time.

Nearly a million Arab tourists--mostly Saudi nationals--visited Cairo last year. They constitute more than a third of all tourists to Egypt, and their numbers are growing every year. Nearly 100,000 Kuwaitis were also part of last year's summer party. One of Cairo's poshest boulevards--Arab League Street--is commonly called Salmiyya Street, after the famous shopping street in Kuwait City. Just a stone's throw from the shopping crowds, the expensive first rows of Egypt's National Circus overflow with extended families from the Gulf. In the city's amusement parks, giggling veiled Gulf girls ram their bumper cars into those of their male counterparts. Young Gulf men and women who are into Arabic disco music pay $100 or more per person for a table right in front of the stage where Egypt's pop idols perform. In the nightclubs on Pyramids Road, some Gulf men kill time by throwing money at Egyptian belly dancers, who these days resent the fierce new blonde competition from Russia.

For some, this sort of entertainment is not enough. Every year Gulf men revitalize the prostitution business in town--officially illegal, though Egyptian authorities habitually close their eyes to it--"because of possible diplomatic embroilments,'' as one Egyptian political scientist puts it, not to mention "the lucrative prospects for hard currency.'' These profits do not find their way into any official economic statistics. A representative of Egypt's vice squad, located in the upper stories of the Mugamma`a, Cairo's Soviet-style administration building, declines even a request for an off-the-record conversation about Egypt's

MONTREAL : THE HOTBED OF SMUT.

Sex and the City: Montreal as the hotbed of smut

In the city's depths, Montreal surges with energy, amidst late-night crowds, lurid lights and pulsing beats. Sex is everywhere--racy, tantalizing and in your face.

Along Ste. Catherine Street, every second storefront seems to be a strip club, fronted by a burly bouncer and shiny, airbrushed pictures of the dancers. A prime bachelor party destination, the neon-lit street teems with drunken packs of males, whose origins range from Toronto to New York and everywhere in between.

Canadian bears get drunk, fight with Mounties.

Several bears got very grizzly the other night in Whistler (pop. 12 humans , 5000 bears, 7000 mooses) and fought with the local police force (2 men, a moose).
Despite banning bears from the bars, this often happens as the bears have plenty of money from social welfare handouts.

Egypt's harassment disease from street assaults to abusive phone calls, women in Egypt are plagued by sexual harassment. It's time to act against it

Nesrine Malik guardian.co.uk, Friday 23 October 2009 14.00 BST Article history

When I was a student at university in Cairo, the college campus was considered a safe haven, a refuge from the lewd and abusive harassment that female students suffered on their way to class. American year-abroad students in particular regularly stumbled on to campus in tears of rage, fuming at the liberties men took on the streets of Cairo.

Last week's report on the rise of phone harassment in Egypt illustrated an extension of this culture. Unlike Saudi Arabia, where consensual phone relationships between men and women are struck up to circumvent the gender segregation in the country, in Egypt these calls are one-sided and predatory – an outlet for lewd and violating language. We're not talking good-natured flattery. References to body parts and sexual acts are common.

Apparently, however, this is how males act in a sexually repressed society.

Toronto Muslim Faked His Own Kidnapping

From The Globe & Mail:

Furqan Muhammad-Haroon, 22, of Scarborough, was reported missing over the weekend. His family said he had been abducted.

In what police are now calling a hoax, a 22-year-old who claimed to have been kidnapped has been found.

In a Saturday afternoon phone call with a friend, Furqan Muhammad-Haroon told a harrowing tale.

The 22-year-old Scarborough engineering student, speaking from behind the wheel of his Mazda van, said he was being tailed by three men, one of whom had a gun.

His van was found soon after. Its keys were inside, while Mr. Muhammad-Haroon was not. Also missing was the thousands of dollars in cash he’d withdrawn in preparation for a trip to the United Arab Emirates that evening.

Police began an investigation into what was initially described as an abduction, but the case took puzzling turns early on.

Mr. Muhammad-Haroon had recently been charged with stealing a green plastic recycling bin stuffed with hard drives and other computer equipment from the office of his former employer, IBM

British tourists causing problems in Slovakia.

Slovak police officers are being brought in and trained especially to tackle problems caused by British tourists. Many of the British tourists go to Bratislava on stag weekends, which have also become popular in other cities across Central Europe and the Baltic States. However, there are some rules that they should also have to observe.

The British Ambassador to Slovakia Judith Anne Macgregor and Bratislava Old Town mayor Peter Ciernik agreed on measures to put a stop to the bad behaviour that is having a negative affect on the people of Bratislava and the owners of bars and restaurants. "Our people have to understand that they are responsible for themselves while they are abroad, and that they should behave like they do in Britain," Macgregor pointed out. The British embassy will take care of printing leaflets that will warn British people that they could be fined or even arrested if they break the local laws and regulations. Hooligans could receive a stamp in their passports.

There are allready some hotels in Bratislava which doesnt accept clients with British passports (bad expieriences with their violence).

GULF ARAB SEX TOURISTS.

Indian media have been publishing exposés documenting the foul behavior of Gulf Arabs in the southern Indian town of Hyderabad. "Fly-by-night bridegrooms" by R Akhileshwari in the Deccan Herald and "One minor girl, many Arabs" by Mohammed Wajihuddin in the Times of India are two important examples. Wajihuddin sets the stage:

They are old predators with new vigour. Often bearded, invariably in flowing robes and expensive turbans. The rich, middle-aged Arabs increasingly stalk the deprived streets of Hyderabad like medieval monarchs would stalk their harems in days that we wrongly think are history. These Viagra-enabled Arabs are perpetrating a blatant crime under the veneer of nikaah, the Islamic rules of marriage.

Misusing the sanctioned provision which allows a Muslim man to have four wives at a time, many old Arabs are not just marrying minors in Hyderabad, but marrying more than one minor in a single sitting. "The Arabs prefer teenage, virgin brides," says Jameela Nishat, who counsels and sensitises young women against the malaise.

The Arabs usually "marry" the girls for short periods, sometimes just a single night. In fact, Wajihuddin reports, marriage and divorce formalities are often prepared at the same time, thereby expediting the process for all involved. Akhileshwari notes that "their girl children are available for as little as 5,000 rupees to satisfy the lust of doddering old Arab men." Five thousand rupees, by the way, equals just a bit over US$100.

An Indian television program recently reported on a show-casing of eight prospective brides, most of them minors, at which they were offered up to their Arab suitors. "It resembled a brothel. The girls were paraded before the Arab who would lift the girls' burqa, run his fingers through their hair, gaze at their figures and converse through an interpreter," recalls one of Nishat's assistants.

On the first of August, forty-five-year-old Al Rahman Ismail Mirza Abdul Jabbar, a sheikh from the UAE, approached a broker in these matters, seventy-year-old Zainab Bi, in the walled city, near the historic Char Minar. The broker procured Farheen Sultana and Hina Sultana, aged between thirteen and fifteen, for twenty thousand rupees [DP comment: that equals US$450]. Then he hired Qazi [DP comment: an Islamic judge, usually spelled qadi in English] Mohammed Abdul Waheed Qureshi to solemnise the marriage. The qazi, taking advantage of an Islamic provision, married the girls off to the Arab. After the wedding night with the girls, the Arab left at dawn.

So much for that "marriage."

Sunita Krishnan, head of an anti human-trafficking organization, Prajwala, makes the only too-obvious point that girl children are not valued. "If a girl child is sold or her life ruined, it is not a national loss, that's why this is a non-issue, both for community and to society. They are committing a sin. It's not nikaah, it's prostitution by another name"), the Islamic authorities in India are almost all silent about this travesty of the Shari'a.

For their part, Muslim politicians in the city of Hyderabad apparently could care less. "It's not on the poll agenda of any politician.

Ironically, the girls thus proffered appear all to be Muslim – no Hindus or others need apply.

Bear kills Muslim militants

Well, that's a shame. Two Muslim nutters hiding out in exquisite Kashmir - currently being destroyed by Islamic fanaticism - were slaughtered by a bear. The article says the bear population is increasing. Perhaps it's the revenge of the bear god...
Maybe the world's anti-terrorist units should hire a few bears.

Oh, but then we will hear shrill cries about the "Islamophobic," "racist," "Zionist" bears
