I has something to do with imbeciles paying a lot for what you get cheaply from your tap. I blame trendies and celebs for making bottled water popular. Go to the tap and get a glassful, for God's sake!

I agree with you mr.Giblets but there recently was an article in the paper that they had done testing on the water and had found traces of antibiotics, codeine, steroids and antidepressants.
This is because a portion of sewar water is treated and put back into the drinking water and there is no way to get rid of all the chemicals in the water.Very scary stuff. So i to have resorted to bottled water for my family.Tap water is filled with junk.Look it up online.

my dad is a retired water treatment worker (not in blytheville) and he will not drink the tap water. He knows what they have to do to make it safe to drink - it is safe - just not as clean as we think.

Quit throwing the fool plastic bottles all over the place! Bad enough with all the Wal-Mart bags and fast food containers. Want to be "trendy"? Don't litter!

wasn't this in Florida and San Francisco? I can see that happening! But, as I suspect that most bottled water is really tap water anyway, they won't escape their own effluent so easily.

here is how it works, pumping stations pump the water into holding lakes from a ditch or river so that the mud can settle out of the water then the water is run through charcoal filtering into a holding tank and then chlorine is added and out the pipes it goes to your house.
