Japan is one of the most racist and discriminatory societies on the planet. Something that is well hidden.
European whites who have tried to break into this society by relation or marriage will tell you. Many Japanese have left Japan for that reason also.
I like China, you prefer Japan.
Why should that prevent me from criticising Japan if you do the same for China?
You become more intolerant by the minute. Obviously these EDL scums had an effect on you!
Why would we want to be part of Japanise society anyway?

I would never go to another country and tell them their way of life and point of view is wrong.

Then again im not a muzzer so its not part of my genetic makeup.

I also prefer china to Japan....but I have no right to be in either place unless they need/want me their......not just because I want to poke exotic women.

Are there any ethnic groups in Japan who are persecuted by their government like the uighers, tibetans or mongolians are by China?

You're a hypocrite.

Some Westerners work in Japan and some get involved with Japanese women, inevitably. Others meet Japanese women abroad too. But most of them are rejected by the woman's family, and have to endure hostility for it. I have seen mixed couples having their children refused Japanese nationality when they return home. For most Japanese. Europeans are just inferior. It's an institutionalised racism.
Nothing to do with wanting to change their way of life.

Yes, Koreans.

And most Koreans were forcibly brought from Korea at slave labour at the end of 19th/begining of 20th century, when Japan ruled that country. Korean girls were also imported for prostitution as "comfort women" for soldiers during that period.

Many still are not considered Japanese after 5 generations! They aren't allowed to change their names, and there are mention of their origins on their papers. Most Japanese won't befriend them, socialise with them, frequent them, marry them, etc.... They are barred from some clubs, some associations, etc...

Although some have managed to get some success in sport (sumo, entertainment, business), they are still discriminated at the earlier opportunity.

This is still an important point of discord between Korea (South Korea now) and Japan. Not only Japan refuses to appologise, but still discriminate at home.

You should know that!!

Japanese don't see us as inferior. Where the bloody Hell have you got that from?

They're just very protective of their own culture and identity. Fair play to them.

There is no love lost between these 2 countries.
China has greatly suffered from Japan from 1920 to 1945.
It's often ignored in the West, but Japan attacked and invaded parts of China since 1922.
After Japan defeated Tsarist Russia and annexed Korea, it entered Mandchuria and part of Inner Mongolia, Chinese territories.
China was in the throes of a civil war, and Japan established a Mandchurian Empire, later invading the coastal plains of China itself.
Millions of Chinese were killed during the attacks, or perished trying to flee.
The Rape of Nankin by the Japanese imperial army is recognised as one of the worst attrocities committed. Hundreds of thousands of innocent Chinese civilians were slaughtered, mostly for the pleasure of Japanese soldiers.
That is now part of Chinese collective memory. Japan hardly even acknowledges it now, although they make great fuss of blaming the US for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Yes I did. My ex was Chinese, a Hakka.
I visited Beijing and Shanghai and also visited her family in the mountains near Canton.
Shanghai is very modern, like an American city, the countryside was very backwards, with pigs running everywhere!
I have also visited Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan in the 80s,

Im quite fond of the Chinise.

They keep themselves to themselves and dont cause much trubble. There are chinise people where I live but its almost as if they dont exist because they are so quiet and well behaved.

My friend lived in a flat with other chinise people.

When I got bored with the paks in my flat playing baseline, taking drugs, engaging in criminal activity and being racist I would go to his flat.....

Chinise girls would make us nice food while I watched him play world of warcraft drink tea and smoke 50 ciggarets a day.

....he didnt even speak english.

They are genraly very nice people the Chinese. They also need respect because china is so powerful. They are very smart and hardworking.

How come you married a Chinese woman?
Did you meet her in China?

Either that or they have a culture well worth protecting in their eyes.

A pity Europe doesn't learn from their approach to immigration.

European countries mostly brought the plague upon themselves.

For the last 6 centuries, they have invaded continents, carved themselves colonies, played warlords, drawn borders, etc... all over the world.

You have never see people from the Far East, Asia, Africa or the American continent do that. No, they kept to themselves, but we went to disturb their peace.

Now it's pay back time! We have been telling them for so long how superior our Europe was, that now they want to find for themselves. Poetic justice, I say...

The 'plague', eh?

So according to you, people deserve to be 'plagued' because of things you believe their ancestors have done?

Hitler would be proud of you, Ronob.

Well, obviously Japan emulated what was the best Navy/army in the world when it came out of its isolationism towards the end of the 19th century.

It copied the British navy structure and its vessels. Japan has always considered its navy superior to its army, and promoted more its admirals than its generals. The Japanese military was geared towards amphibiuous operations, where the army would be under orders from the navy.

The defeat of the Russian navy at the battle od Tsushima in 1905, was a watershed in history and marked Japan accession among the world naval forces.

Well, even if we don't "deserve" it, it fall upon us now. We have to assume our imperial and colonial heritage, or maybe you thought that just eating curry and playing jazz would be enough? LOL

We are just lucky that the migrants in UK behave better than our ancestors did in their countries over centuries.

Think about that Tripod when you go to sleep!!

Rio.Duh!Of course Japan focused on building a strong navy,it's an island nation just like Britain.Britain only avoided invasion from Hitler's military for the following reasons.Britain had a superior naval force, second to none.Hitler's real aims lie to the east.Russia represented living space and natural resources that Germany did not have."Blitzkreig"war fare was a necessity because Germany did not have the resources for a protracted conflict. One final thing.Without access to the sea and the help of the US convoys,Britain could not have survive after the"miracle"at Dunkirk.

Supersonic Boom. The sad thing is ,even then, the allies did not read the writing on the wall regarding Japan's actions such as in China eg.If memory serves me,Japan's intentions were clear as early as 1931.Seems we haven't learned the lessons that history has taught about the value of a large, strong navy and the dangers of cutting the navy to bare bones.
