Our silence equals our acquiescence to this atrocity in the making. The article linked here provides the email addresses of the Ugandan officials who are in a position to put a stop to this and a sample form letter to help express the community's outrage at this proposed law. Let these people know that the world is watching what they are trying to do and that what has been proposed is beneath contempt...

There are problems in Uganda which you could not possibly understand, one of which is malicious homosexual rape, which is being used by factions to perpetuate the spread of aids. Homosexuality is a decadent indulgence reserved for people who have lost their and sense of purpose as a result of having it too easy for too long. Your opinion may as counterproductive to as it is useless.

How many pathetic delusions can you possibly hold onto at the same time? I can't understand the problems that Uganda faces? "Malicious homosexual rape"? Homosexuality the result of "decadence"? I'd swear you would have to be kidding if you hadn't presented this garbage as if you actually believed in it. The reality is that you're merely parroting the government of Uganda's false and hate-filled propaganda that has been churned out in recent months to sell this genocidal distraction from the very real problems confronted by the people of that country. By the way, the international pressure IS working, Parliament has already put off consideration of this legislation until next year at least and if the pressure is maintained should drop this effort all together...

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Scorpio

Something about your personality or appearance is drawing a lot of attention today, Scorpio. People insist on watching when you'd rather that they minded their own business. Your stubborn streak at a time when flexibility would be easier. Be kind to those with long memories, especially if you think you might run into them again at some point in your life. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
