No Turkish is a very differnt language like scandinavians.<quoted text>
After the split of the East and West Roman Empires Greek eventually replaced Latin as the lands official language.
And it was Greek architecture that inspired the buildings created by the Byzantine Empire.
Also the Greeks directly influenced Roman philosophy, architecture, language, and even the Latin alphabet comes from the Greek one.
Just the same way the Turkish language comes from the Mongolian one.
If you look at the Runic alphabet of the Swedes and Danes and Orhun alphabet of the Turks you will find two languages were nearly same in asian steppes 2000years ago.
Some people says Scandianavians are Turks too.
