UN: Israel blockade legal, flotilla force 'excessive'

Full story: MSNBC

A long-awaited U.N. report on an Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound ship that killed nine Turks declares that Israel's naval blockade of the Gaza Strip was legal, but that the Jewish state used unreasonable force.

"Excessive" indeed. I guess when the terrorist criminals kill Jews, they are not quite as dead as when the Israelis fight back and kill the criminals.

first of all an apology would not end it all. It would only be the beginning. an apology means accepting you are wrong. once they would have apologized the one you call 'smug' would have walked right over them. One way or another Israel needs to be punished by this government. They let them choose the way they wanted to walk...

And letting someone walk over you like this gives a very wrong message to the world. A message Israel has never givin in its history and didnt want to give not even for TR and are ready to face the consequences. TR is also not a country that can be walked over ust like that. You can count on one thing and that is that things are going to get rough.

Israel in general is getting very isolated in the mid east for the first time in its history. If they were enemies with one they were allies with some other big player in mideast. Not this time, Iran is breathing in their neck, they recently fcked up with Egypt as well. All they have is PKK and greece. Greece is not a worthy ally to make a difference for them, and PKK is getting buttfcked as we speak. I bet even griks would agree on this. Israel has been very bussy cornering themselves lately. They may stand tall now but they will pay the price sooner or later. And by the way if ANYONE wants to attack us, right now might be your only chance. In 3 years or so we will have the potential to crush armies just like that.

Its now or never and Israel is asking: "what is i gonn do? wat is i gonn do?" I bet they gonna regret in a few years their choises but it will be too late then. And if anyone thinks its gonna be a war with USA involved than expect a WW3!

‘Israel’s bullying in eastern Mediterranean is over’

The eastern Mediterranean will no longer be a place where Israeli naval forces can freely exercise their “bullying” practices against civilian vessels, a Turkish official said Friday.

The official said this would be the outcome of Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu’s statement earlier in the day that “Turkey would take every precaution it deems necessary for the safety of maritime navigation in the eastern Mediterranean.”

Davutoğlu’s statement about providing maritime safety in the eastern Mediterranean grabbed the most attention among the various sanctions against Israel the foreign minister announced Friday. He did not further elaborate, however, on what he meant by taking “every precaution.”

The Turkish foreign minister’s statement will likely spark a new faceoff between Turkey and Israel, the region’s strongest armies, in the eastern Mediterranean. A potential confrontation between the two countries’ navies would have serious negative consequences for regional stability.

Turkish diplomats told the Hürriyet Daily News that the Turkish Navy will be more visible in the eastern Mediterranean through regular patrolling in international waters.“A more aggressive strategy will be pursued. Israel will no longer be able to exercise its bullying practices freely,” one said.

Using Turkish naval vessels to escort ships carrying aid to Palestine and observing free navigation in the zone between the island of Cyprus and Israel are among the plans set to be implemented, sources said, adding that Turkish war ships would be more frequently seen in the area....

.....As part of Turkey’s more aggressive strategy against Israel, sources told the Daily News that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is planning to visit Hamas-controlled Gaza in the coming weeks, an intention he voiced in late July.

“Our prime minister has already instructed the Foreign Ministry to set a date for the visit. We are looking for the best timing for the visit,” a diplomatic source said.“Our primary purpose is to draw the world’s attention to what is going on in Gaza and to push the international community to end the unfair embargo imposed by Israel.”

in Australia Greeks are also called WOG.
In fact this term was coined for Greeks and italians especially.
So instead of listening and trying to understand what their PM said, first acknowledge what you actually are.

HH, we would never had got to Sept 4, 2011 on this land ...... if it wasn't for the help of our sisters and brothers all over the world, our friends from the North Pole down to the South Pole ... specially the United States of America..

But we also owe it to ourselves, our killed, our wounded .... our persistance and determination to build our national Jewish home on this land of our ancestors....

Fcckc you and your profecies...
We are here to stay..!!

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
