Geordie boy lol! Mate you were dumb enough to find yourself in such a situation, don't generalise all gamnbian women, women can generally by users or gold diggers, but not all them are mate. Life is what you make it bitch...now you know watch your back ;-)

Dont you find that this is the case in most under developed countries and not just Gambia.
Obviously you have been stung, hopefully you got out before you lost much more.
There are places where some women frequent knowing that there will be men there, some places have a bad reputation for meeting the wrong type of person.
Where did you meet her, was it Churchills, Bucarabu, perhaps you could share your story at some point, perhaps put her name on the name and shame thread as a warning to others.

there are many female now attending school & college.the fact that the men keep in regular touch, they have their children, share religion and culture therefore their relationships work.i am not saying if the marriage is polygamus that there is no jealousy but they do it, their religion and if kept in the family, the husband simply tells the woman to be strong while he away sending money.
although i was working hard and had no chill out time with him, he couldn't wait to get back home. i wonder why.lol

Most Gambian women here in my country are hardworking who struggle every day in low paid jobs to bring food to the table. Their children are well mannered and their parents made sure they were educated. I love to see how the gambian kids are now wonderful young adults who are doing well here in Sweden. I dont understand why you are trying to disrespect gambian women and put them down, because of jealousy? Not only are they beautiful, they are good hearted people who have many times been through discrimination and hardships that we white women have no idea of. And still they manage to be kind and hospital, I never expected them to be nice to me but they are. I havent got one negative word to say about the women and I have no hatred in my heart towards gambians as a people like many of you who post here. That is racism BS and I feel sorry for you who live with such hate inside you!

I´ve been reading some of your posts and as I understand it you are married to a gambian man who treated you bad when you were in the Gambia, is that correct? He has another wife there, right? Why are you married to someone who do not respect you one bit? Have you got no self respect? Why are you focusing your anger and dissapointment on the gambian women when your Husband is the one to blame?

they are both muslim and as such he is entitled to 4 wives that is his culture and religion what is disrespectful about it? FBD is fully aware as a muslim woman this could happen its not disrespectful to muslim other gambian wives why is it disrespectful to FBD?
