BANGKOK -(Dow Jones)- The Thai Cabinet Tuesday approved a THB1.4 billion ($ 41.2 million) budget to provide financial assistance to Cambodia for its road development project.
The 30-year soft loan will charge interest at 1.5%, with the principal being repaid from 2019 onward, a government spokesman told reporters after a weekly cabinet meeting.
The project is expected to boost traffic volume between the two countries in both tourism and logistics.

Thailand have more to lose. Maybe Cambodian can get loan from China instead. Everybody is begging money from China this day.

That's ok. If the Thai government wants to end the project, Chinese will build road through Lao.

Thailand will make a mistake if they want to disconnect China from southern part of Southeast asian and singapore.

I wish Thai would end all businesses with Cambodia..

Thailand doesn't have a choice lol ehehe.... Thaksin is good at pressuring people to fail lol ehehe

If you know history, you know that thailand has been on the other end of every conflict. Thailand has always played devil advocate....

thailand has not friends, due to it selfishness. No neighbor trust thailand. History says it all.

being open minded is one thing... but you still need to know the trust and understand what lead up to these conflicts.
