He speaks particularly kindly about his treatment by Italians during his arduous journey that took Frimtzis born in Moldavia, , whose family fled the Nazi's Blitzkrieg 3000 miles eastward to Tajikistan, and after the war trekked back across half Europe and eventually ended up in Cremona, Italy, and then Geneva Switzerland, and thence to the USA.

In fact Rome was the first conduit for the Jews in Europe. Judea of course was a Roman province and very many Greek-speaking Jews settled in the ghettos there. From Rome they went to the Rhineland, where they received their German surnames and culture, and from there spread out to Eastern Europe. Why? Because the Eastern European whites were naive and could be very easily exploited. Anywhere they could make a buck, or make one up, the Jews lived.
