Hymns and prayers emanated from a small church in a hilly part of Hsintic. They said the backyard used to be a part of a Japanese Imperial Air Force airfield that flew kamikaze missions .
But now all attention was on a very frail wheelchair bound lady in her 80's who personally offered a 10,000.00 NT donations for the quake and tsunami victims of Sendai.
This old lady only have a monthly 3000 NT$ stipend from the government which is no match for the cost of the medications for her various ailments.
If not for the missionary nuns who welcomed her in their hospice then she could still be living in the streets today .
Yet she could have been richer and more comfortable if she only simply accepted the two million yen ($17,800) offered from the Asian Women's Fund established in 1995 . But she said she would happily exchange all those money for a sincere Japanese government apology that never came.
So why are you helping the Japanese now? " I felt the pain of the victims especially the octogenarians. Besides, I'm a Christian."
When further pressed by some nosy reporters she finally said that..." not all Japanese are bad people...."

But...

...Did the Japanese government ever felt the pain of the thousands of fast aging 'Comfort Women' like her?
Let us all pray for the present and past victims.
Amen.

Here are same of Japs army animalistic acts during WW2,
1, raped n killed innocent civilian women. Many women been gang raped til death.
2, toss babies in the air, and pierce the babies with the sharp blade attached to their rifles,
3. pump big amount of water into ppl body, and step on their stomach.
4. Cut up pregnant women to extract the unborn baby inside wombs.
5. pull out your fingers using plier, or hammer a nail inside the groove between the nail n meat of your fingers.
6. bury civilian alive.
7, use innocent civilian to test out effect of germs, virus, new poisons, chemical, in human body, thousands perish,
8, beat up prisoners / detainees til death,
9. Forced many young Korean, n Taiwanese women etc to be free prostitutes for their army men.
10. beheading, and hang the heads on post, and many others cruel acts,
All in all, more than 15 millions Asian (exclude Japs) died. many of these are unarmed, non combatant civilians.
Beside, Why donate to Japs?? their per capita income is much higher than many, many Asian countries!! Japs dont deserved sympathy!!
The Japs deserved to be annihilated soonest!!

"Physicians for Social Responsibility, a U.S. nonprofit organization of medical experts, has condemned as "unconscionable" the Japanese government's safety standards on radiation levels at elementary and junior high schools in nuclear disaster-stricken Fukushima Prefecture."

Did same to their own kids now as they did to their WW2 victims like the comfort women then .

"Tokyo Electric Power Co.(TEPCO) admitted for the first time on May 15 that most of the fuel in one of its nuclear reactors at the Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant had melted only about 16 hours after the March 11 earthquake struck a wide swath of northeastern Japan and triggered a devastating tsunami."

Who will believe Tokyo now?

Fukushima reactor had meltdown 3.5 hours after cooling system collapsed: U.S. researcher.

Why does Japan have the habit of denying anything bad they did?

Aug. 15 marks the 67th anniversary of Japan's surrender in World War II .

It's with deep regret that there are now fewer than 67 'Comfort Women' who are still alive .

What's more sad is that all of the remaining survivors have yet to recieve a formal Japanese government apology up to this day!

Can you imagine 67 years of lingering shame, physical and mental sufferings yet they still resolutely rejects the two million yen ($17,800) offered from the Asian Women's Fund established in 1995 ?

What good is Japan's habit of expressing only " deep regret" when not even the last of the dying 'Comfort Women' don't even believe in their sincerity?

We hope that a Japanese statesman would finally realize that all those post war treaties signed under the umbrella of the USA will not wash all the bad blood and the resentment of her Asian neighbors towards a Japan that is not sincere .

This is why South Korea's Pres. Lee said he was trying to give some advice to Japan, which is one of the world's leading countries but does not sufficiently understand the positions of the victim and victimizer.

Yes, maybe Japan was and is a victim of the brutal Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings of civilian populations in the waning days of the war but what Tokyo did before that against the Korean people, the Chinese nation, other Asian states and even the Ryukyuans were as equally or even more savage than what the Americans did.

Japan must have the vision to separate the issues between being the 'victimizer' and being the 'victim'.

Failing to do so would only make if appear as if Japan wants to be portrayed as the victim of the 'Comfort Women' instead of vice versa.

Why do Japan still produce people like Toru Hashimoto?

http://mainichi.jp/english/english/newsselect...

Is it because all Japanese today still think like Toru Hashimoto?

Hashimoto is just like those Imperial Japanese soldiers who forced Ryukyuan men, women and children to jump off cliffs or ordered elderly civilians hiding in caves to explode a grenade when the evil Americans enter.

The mayor should ask his daddy and grandpa where they were during the war.

Hashimoto-san should consider visiting the remaining 'Comfort Women' in Korea and in Hsintic before opening his mouth.

One of them could be his grandma.

What comes around goes around.

Now will Japan ever pay Taiwan back???

Other Asian countries helping Japan is very odd, but it was an emergency situation and a kind human thing to do.

More kindness than the Japanese have shown their Asian neighbors, especially before and during WW2, as they raped, robbed, and killed.

But most Japanese are not sorry, and thanks to government education programs, they either don't know what Japan did or think Japan was the innocent little victim.

Japanese will never get it regarding the 'Comfort Women' issue.

Abe and Hashimoto doesn't believe that a very brutal occupying Japanese army is intimidating enought to helpless young Korean and Chinese women which make the need for 'forcible' abductions totally unnecessary .

That's why Japan will never achieve the current stature of todays Germany,
respected and trusted not only in Europe but all over the world.

How could people of the world trust Japan when the Japanese government even lies to their own Japanese citizens?

Fukushima highlights this nagging habit.

abe and ishihara believes that all the very old and very sickly comfort women will be gone soon putting an end to the issue and
so its time for japan to say the comfort women were not forced by japan to work in brothels because they were after financial gain so its time for another loud victory banzai !!!!!! a banzai after the defeat of the comfort women!!!!!!!!

but....... the abes yamamotos ishiharas jin matsubaras and their family will be the first to feel the wrath of the curse of the comfort women once the last of them takes their final gasp along with the last chance for japanese to avoid the more powerful and painful curse of the comfort women.
