Assad says US ties better but could still improve

AFP, Damascus US President Barack Obama's administration has replaced the orders of his predecessor's era with "dialogue" but there is still room for an improvement in relations, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said.

One has to wonder when the Syrian majority will tire of the Assad family clique. And Americans have had it, dealing with temporary warlords. Besides, we already know what Syria wants: the Golan Heights, all of Lebanon and 7 billion dollars in aid. Bashar Assad, get screwed!
