We can damage the environment on a local level we can damage the environment on a continental scale but for some reason we can't damage the environment on a global scale according to you pair of goons.

It is more like we can hurt it like a flea hurts a dog. No matter what the dog keeps going.

Of course we can damage the environment. We should do what we can to reduce pollution. We are better off if we can find alternatives to the fossil fuels we use now. Not because they are bad, but because the are finite.

But we can destroy our economy with bad public policy based on political science.

But we knew the effect that CO2 had long before politics became involved. your right, its wrong to base policy on politically tainted science.

Could you answer me this; why is it that extreme right wingers seem to be obsessed with proving the mainstream scientific community wrong?

Taxes. Carbon trading system.

Pure and simple. If the government wants to tax me, then they have to prove there is a reason for the tax.

All for development of alternative energy sources. Believe our world is better off if not polluted. I practice conservation and recycling.

I do not believe I should be taxed so the UN can fund their failing program.

The more important question you have to ask yourself is why is almost everyone on this, the world’s largest open forum on the subject, a denier?

No more than these soundbits in the media telling people that it will take ten years to get that oil out of the ground and to the pump.

Also the fleas might cause a little pain and discomfort but inless they transfer a virus with them they are only a annoyance.
