The State Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Abdul Bagi Al Gailani, on Saturday received the National Group for the Correction of the Track of the Darfur and reviewed with them the positive developments in peace and stability realization in Darfur beside the efforts exerted by the International community to improve the humanitarian situation in the region.

The State Minister has pointed out in a statement following the meeting that they also reviewed and agreed upon a plan of action for the resolution of the problem, pointing out to government efforts in this regard. The state minister stressed the need for boosting the pillars of peaceful coexistence and for remedy of social fabric through tribal reconciliation and protection of the IDP camps so that stability would prevails in the region.
The Secretary General of the Group Kamal Ibrahim has pointed out that the group wishes to work in darfur in the humanitarian domain calling for the resolution of the question through dialogue and for trust building in the road leading up to a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
