Last year´s property corruption scandal on the southern Malaga coast saw the Zapatero government move quickly to punish the culprits and iniciate a vendetta against others involved in shady property dealings. All this came to a sudden, screeching halt when another property scandal surfaced in the Baleares involving Mr. Zapatero´s Socialist Workers Party national party spokesman´s giving his approval to appropriate money for the party via some very shady property dealings, which he has so far not denied! Moreover, how can anyone expect the Zapatero government to clean up the coast when they cannot even clean up their own act?
