Spain's national broadcaster bans bullfighting

Spain's leading broadcaster said Saturday it will no longer show the country's centuries-old tradition of bullfighting in order to protect children from viewing violence.

It is sickening to watch bull fighting.

The bull was winning too often.

Well, the fact that they will not broadcast it is no sign that it will be stopped. I have lived here for years and I can tell you that there is a significant percentage of the Spanish people that have an inborn instinct to abuse animals. I have seen videos of geese thrown out of attic windows, goats being abused, bulls with torches tied to their horns and so on. I do not see this so called "sport" or "art", or whatever it is, stopping in my lifetime!
