VietNamNet Bridge - At the musical exchange performance within the scope of the recent culture week of Viet Nam organized in the end of August in Phnom Penh, Cambodian singer Sun So Vanari made Viet Namís artists so surprise by Vietnamese songs that she sang fluently in Vietnamese language. Nobody believed that she is a Cambodian singer because of her standard Vietnamese pronunciation....[Sun So Vanari and Vietnamese singer Thanh Thuy, expressively performed Nguoi oi nguoi o dung ve (Please stay, donít go), a famous Quan Ho folk song of Bac Ninh, Viet Namís northern province.]
WTH? Why would a Cambodian learn to speak or sing in Vietnamese for? Does she not know that it is a sin for a Cambodian to use the Vietnamese language? Hahaha. Millions of Khmer Krom in South Vietnam speak the Vietnamese very fluently, so how come there is no mentioning of that. Even the selected Vietnamese song "Please stay, don't go" is very insulting to the Cambodians in general. How much longer do you want to stay in Cambodia, you Viets!!! After 10 long years of occupation and exploitation of the Cambodian timber and fish resources worth trillions of dollars, now you want to come back to insult the Cambodians. Go back to your ancestral land in the North, you Viets! Hahah

Be quiet, Dan. Just shut up for once, man. The Cambodians don't ever mix with the Viets, fool. They prefer to mix with the Chinese instead. Now tell all of your barbarian Viets to move back to North Vietnam. Hahhah.

wow, what a scandal a khmer girl singing accent free in vietnamese...cultural exchange between viets and khmers is irreversible and inevitable...it's starts with khmer men betraying their women and children with vietnamese prostitutes...and it ends with the Hun Sen government encouraging cultural exchanges...best example is the leading viet puppet hun lap lap sen exploiting and betraying his country for viet money...vietnamese are dominating secretely cambodia's economy and politics...this is real, please wake up and stop all your double moral statements...sure 600 years ago everything was better

How old are you guys? Why are you spreading hate? You feel proud that a Khmer singer can sing in Vietnamese. What is wrong with you? If you want to help Cambodia, be constructive, and be part of the solution. Educate yourself and be part of one humanity, one world. The interesting thing is, I found, that Khmers in the countryside, they don't have Vietnamese, the way the Sino-Khmer do. I think they have some issues here.

Those Khmer singers are stupid. I have never seen Viet singers wanted to sing Khmer song. I know her name now. I will meet her when I go home this time. Definitely, I will pay her some money as she wants.

KhmerHeart,
I want to sing a Khmer song? would you pay me 10,000 US dollars per Khmer song?
Your comment will cause trouble gain.
If a Khmer singer would get a lot of money, why not he/she could sing Vietnamese song?
Your comment is full of hatred toward Vietnamese song & VN people.

What's the difference between Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese? They are all human being. I think you really against the Vietnamese people. I am Chinese and I don't judge by colour. I am very upset with you for isolating race. Just think before you open your mouth. Are you human being too?????
