How do Korean men feel about dating Irish women?

Yes that is generally the case, but it is sometimes hit and miss because some Korean guys, especially those who come from very traditional families and are firstborn or the only son, have familial pressure to see Korean girls to pass on the family name. Best chance to find a Korean guy will be foreign born and coming from a family with more than one son where he is not the eldest.

I am currently in love with a Korean native who lives in Korea. While he has demonstrated having feelings for me, he still tells me about his pressure of being the eldest. So I honestly think he will pass me up just to follow tradition. It seems so strange since I know he likes me a lot.

I'm a Korean American guy and I love me a red head Irish lass or any colored hair for that matter. I also know several FOB Koreans who think caucasian women are more physically attractive but prefer asian women due to language and cultural issues. You problably have a good shot with a foriegner like me.

Lol baby, I would say you really need to find out who and what you are. You sound confused to me. Listen, have you ever lived in ireland? Do you speak Gelic? If you are born in USA and lived there all your life then I would consider you are AMERICAN! If this is hard to accept for you then I would consider a therapist. Coming back to your original question: If you like to date Koreans and if you would be interest even to marry one then I would suggest you to make a degree in teaching English, even better make a degree in teaching English and Child education. After some practice in USA you can apply to work in Korea in your field. The salary seems to be quite good and to get a job is quite easy here for someone with the mentioned education. Once you are here in Korea you will have a great chance to meet lots of Korean men. You can experiance their culture and the whole package. If, after that experiance, you are still attracted in Korean man I am sure you will find the right partner too. But before you start to try to understand other mentalities and culture please make sure what is your own and what you are yourself.

From my experiance there is really a cultur isuue involved. Note: In former times in East Asia and therefore in Korea too it was normal to bed the breats of girls to make sure they stay small. Big breasts have been a sign of beeing sexual very active and possibly beeing a prostitued. Traditional Korean men are therefore not at all attracted by big breast or at leased might like to experiance that but would never consider a lady with big breast as a potential candidate for marriage. They would loose their face if they would have to introduce a girl with big boobs to their family. Additional to this it is quite common in Korea to believe in "One Nation - One Blood" Therefore many young Korean men would not consider to marry any woman other then Korean. If a Korean man marries a woman from abroad (no matter of colour) he will always be questioned: "Couldn't you find a Korean woman? What is wrong with you?" The Korean ranking (if something like that exists for foreigner ladies to marry) would be: First would be Asian women (with skin colour as white as possible), second would be caucasian and at the end of the scale any women with dark skin. As darker the skin as more at the end of the ranking. That is my experiances after living here for more then 7 years.

Black women are beautiful.
I think more Asian men are becomning attracted to women of color and not just white women.
Im half Japanese and half Samoan. Father is Japanese mother is Samoan.

ok to Robin....I live in Korea as well and the big boob thing is bulllllll! I agree though, get the degree , get over here! experience this fun culture. Come to Itaewon, men dont seem to judge color of skin there!! Its a community of many colors and its great fun! Yes you must be able to drink in this country...if u r not an alocholic now, u will be a few months after u get here. Koreans r friendly caring people and the culture compared to many other countries is quite like western culture. Of course it has its quirks that make it different but my boyfriend is egyptian and beleive me, his culture makes korean culture seem veeeeery western...hehe... anyways i hope u meet the korean man of your dreams, just come to itaewon hehe

Robin i do agree with your ranking system though....its funny because i never noticed a ranking system on races of who someone would marry until i came to korea...its hard sometimes as a western white gal because for the most part western women here in korea dont go for korean men. The western men in Korea have such a boosted ego from all the beautiful korean ladies drooling over them sometimes they tend to ignore us white girls but i dont even care about that anyways....I got a thing for egyptian men hehehe
