K-Pop has certainly come a long way. With its growing influence across Asia, Continental Europe, Latin America and to some extent, North America, this has proliferated its growing fan base and this has helped spark foreigner's interest with Korean culture.

The dance techniques from K-Pop is now being learned and imitated by foreigners who go to Korea for that. More are now interested in learning the Korean language, culture and history.

As per usual, Australia is behind with things such as the Hallyu Wave. It's ironic though that Australia is in the Asia-Pacific region but it has not much of a K-Pop following (apart from the Asian population here in Australia).

However, this K-Pop proliferation may only lead to niche markets in Europe, Latin America and North America. Many fans in these regions tend to be otakus so it may remain a cult following rather than a fully mainstream trend.
