The department ran into another legal hurdle last week when the North Gauteng High Court struck down large portions of the Communal Land Rights Act, that would have been a pillar of the Zuma administration’s rural development programme.

The law, which was declared unconstitutional, was challenged because of the powers it gave the state to privatise communal land.

Nkwinti said the state would not challenge the court ruling.

He said critics of land reform were wrong to blame failing farming operations on redistributed land for the drop in agricultural production in South Africa, which was partly the result of vast areas of arable land being turned into game farms.

“They are no longer producing maize, potatoes.”

They sure are no longer producing maize, potatoes etc.... because of vast areas of arable land being turned into game farms....lmao. What a load of crap!!

Zew will have to start his rolling mass action...it's going slower than expected.

The land redistribution thing is a big fat waste of time, most farm workers are content in receiving an income for their services. Its outsiders not involved with farming that want a piece of the pie, outsiders whom clearly have political connections.

It's a very powerfull political weapon. A very dangerous one at that, these politicans will sell anything as being in the best interest of the people and they buy it.... justice to the people eh? Look, let me be blunt, this country is going to have to fall before it can stand up again. So by all means they are welcome to carry on on this road of self destruction, it's obvious they are unable to learn from other's mistakes.

You are right, when you deal with farmworkers you get to see how little they are interested in land distribution, actually they really just want to be left alone and continue with their lives as normal - which as a farm worker is way better than most of the the illiterate black man in SA. They have homes, good food and earn a reasonable income.

Let me say it again. I don't believe in black majority rule ever in Africa, not in a thousand years.

"Pushing people forward simply because of their colour, irrespective of merit, would be most unfortunate and would of course lead to disaster. It would mean that Rhodesia would then develop into a kind of banana republic where the country would in no time be bankrupt. " -Ian Smith

"What fascinates me about these discussions is they always end with several of my compatriots proclaiming “Smith was a much better than Mugabe”. Those prepared to say this usually do so in the company of a few trusted friends. I always laugh at how their voices are lowered to mere whispers once they start mimicking that line. Whenever I challenge them to vocalise these sentiments in the presence of all and sundry I always get told; “It’s not done.”

"I first heard the line “Smith aive nani” meaning (Smith was much better) being said publicly many years ago. Ironically it was said by an ex-combatant of the war of liberation. The occasion was the burial of some national hero. As usual, President Mugabe presented his lengthy diatribe against “enemies of the state”. Then from the blue, this war vet whose name I forget shouted on top of his voice,“Aiwawo, kutaura zvisina maturo. Smith aive nani” literally meaning “All you said was just nonsense. Smith was much better.”

Needless to say the gentleman was hastily shunted away by the police and taken to the cells."

"If Smith was a black man, I would say that he was the best Prime Minister that Zimbabwe ever had."
Morgan Tsvangirai, Leader of the Movement for Democratic Change, 1999

Fawk the kaffirs, they are a hopeless case. I think the evidence out of the US should prove this without a doubt. History tells us you have two options left, and wishful thinking is not one of a viable ones since someone gave the black people firearms...

Most of the Farmworkers besides receiving an education get free housing, free education for their kids and three meals a day paid for by the farm owner, the farmers wife is usually involved in some or other charity service for the farm workers as well. You take away the farmer and you have no more blacks being educated,no more daily meals and no more free housing.I suppose the Government could do a great job taking over those responsibilities from the farm owner.

Would have been nice if Ronald Reagan could have killed the US sanctions and you guys certainly would have drove the kaffirs all the way back to Egypt where they could build some new pyramids.

LOL
Reagen knew how to use tact when dealing with the negro.
Don't think the Egyptians would be happy to house all the negro in such a scenario.

PS I hear the Atlantic Ocean has enough room for all the worlds negro.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
