Cush the son of Ham had 6 sons they were called:

Havilah, Seba, Raamah, Sabtecah, Sabtah, and Nimrod

Havilah and his sons were called Havilites they settled in the land of Mesopotamia. Nimrod was the first king of Mesopotamia the children of his brother Havilah lived in these lands.

Next was Seba today identified as Sheba or Saba' in Arabic, the Sabaeans were Cushites who lived in Southern Yemen, they spoke an extinct archaic Old South Arabian language. Some Sabaeans also lived in D'mt a land located in Northern Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Raamah and his descendants in what is modern day Saudi Arabia. But they lived on the West Coast of Arabia near the Persian Gulf and traded with Phoenicia and Havilah (Iraq/Mesopatamia). Raamah had a son named Dedan whose descendants were also called Dedanites and lived in north west Arabia, today the city is called Al Ula and also has Dedanite inscriptions.

Sabtecah's descendants are said to have resided in modern day Somalia or Eritrea there is debate on that.

No one knows were Sabtah's descendants lived it it hard to locate.

Phut was the third son of Ham. Though Phut was considered to be Libya by the ancient writers Josephus Flavius writes: "Phut also was the founder of Libya, and called the inhabitants Phutites (Phoutes), from himself: there is also a river in the country of Moors which bears that name; whence it is that we may see the greatest part of the Grecian historiographers mention that river and the adjoining country by the appellation of Phut (Phoute):

but the name it has now has been by change given it from one of the sons of Mezraim, who was called Lybyos." (AotJ Book 1:6/2). Pliny the Elder Nat. Hist. 5.1 and Ptolemy Geog. iv.1.3 both place the river Phuth on the west side of Mauretania (modern Morocco). Ptolemy also mentions a city Putea in Libya (iv.3.39)".

But the ancestors of the Libyans were the Lubim, Lubim was a son of Mizraim or Egypt. Phut and Lubim were always together when mentioned by they were never the same thing.

Nahum 3:9, where it is said that "Put and Lubim" were the helpers of Egypt. Other biblical verses consistently refer to the descendants of Put as warriors. In Jeremiah 46:9, they are again described as being supporters of Egypt.

Ezekiel mentions them three times - in 27:10, as supporters of Tyre (Phoenicia), in 30:5 again as supporting Egypt, and in 38:5, as supporters of Gog. The Septuagint Greek (LXX) substitutes Libues in Ezekiel where the Hebrew Bible refers to Put. However, the LXX reads Put in Isaiah 66:19, in place of Pul in the Hebrew.

Sometimes Phut was synonymous with Egypt, Libya and Phoenicia. like here: The Persian historian Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari (c. 915) recounts a tradition that the wife of Put was named Bakht, a daughter of Batawil son of Tiras, and that she bore him the "Copts".

The Libyan tribe of pỉdw shows up in Egyptian records by the 22nd dynasty, while a Ptolemaic text from Edfu refers to the t3 n n3 pỉt.w "the land of the Pitu". The word was later written in Demotic as Pỉt, and as Phaiat in Coptic, a name for Libya Aegypti, northwestern Egypt.

Phut today is still debated weather it was Somalia or Libya, but then again didn't Romans, Greeks, and Arabs call both Somalis and Libyans as Berbers and wasn't Somalia the "Other Berberia".

Mizraim was the second oldest son of Ham and a younger brother of Cush. His name is Mizraim meaning the "Two Egypts" like Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. Today Misr or Masr is used in the Afro-Asiatic languages to refer to Egypt.

Mizraim was the father of 7 sons, they were:

Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, Pathrusim, Casluhim, and Caphtorim. Since Mizraim was the father of the ancient Egyptians there were other related people.

Ludim was the ancestor of the Lydians who ruled Anatolia (Turkey), Anamim was the father some say a people in Northern Africa or the Beja people of Sudan it is unidentified, Lehabim were another people who went into colonizing the North West Coast of Africa they are also not identified as a people.

The Naphtuhim would be in southern Egypt today. They were originally in the Nile Delta (or Lower Egypt) giving their name to it. It is they who were the Memphites—"the people of the god Ptah". Memphis was originally known as Naph, and in more modern times as Abusir.

The name "Memphis" (Μέ&#956 ;φι&#962 ;) is the Greek corruption of the Egyptian name, Men-nefer, which became, Menfe in Coptic. Later they migrated southwards founding the city of Napata in southern Egypt. Peoples known as 'Nobatai'(Oasis Dwellers) were observed in antiquity in Libya, Nubia, and Arabia. They might as well be the Nubians of modern day Sudan.

The Pathrusim gave their name to Upper or Central Egypt. "Pathros", p't'-rs(y) means "southland" in Egyptian, being the territory between Cairo and the Aswan, or central Egypt. The Assyrians called the area Paturisi.

The precise whereabouts of their country is uncertain, although the book of Genesis does record that the Philistines came from this people. Some cite Crete as their possible place of settlement, which, if true, would make the Ethiopic War of Josephus a truly international conflict as he records the destruction of the Casluhim in that War.

This, however, only serves to make Crete a most likely place for their settlement, the northern areas of Egypt being a far more reasonable proposition.
The Philistines were known to the Assyrians as the Palashtu, and to the Greeks as `he Palaistine'- hence the later name of Palestine. After the Assyrian conquest of the 8th Century BC, however, the Philistines effectively disappear as a coherent nation. It is currently being taught that the Philistines did not appear until the 13th Century BC, and that they are to be identified as the 'Sea Peoples' of Egyptian literature.

Some Berbers may be derived from the Philistines. Certain African histories describe Goliath, a Philistine, as "Goliath the Berber" because many of these tribes claim descent from Jalut (the Goliath of the Bible). However, they resent being called Berber, preferring the appellation of Amazigh or Chleuhs -'The Free People'.

The Berbers appear to have varied origins. They are believed to be primarily derived from Phut, the son of Ham but, appear to have some elements from Casluh and Caphtor, the sons of Mizraim. Additionally, the Kabyle Berbers appear to be descendants of Lud, the son of Shem.

The Philistines are said to be descendants of Casluhim and are also described as fierce warriors and their land of where they resided as a mystery. In Egyptian and Jewish history it is said that the Philistines did not always reside in Canaan, but in a land called Caphtor. Caphtor's identity is still unknown, but scholars are sure that it was an island some have suggested it was either Crete or Cyprus.

The Philistines are described as the "Sea Peoples" who invaded Canaan and overwhelmed the Canaanites and the Egyptians. The Philistines are described as Foreigners in the land of Canaan, but had similar features to the Canaanites and Egyptians. The Philistine destruction in their account and work as the "Sea Peoples" in the 13-11th century B.C was shocking and devasting to the Mediterranean world.

The Sea Peoples however did not only compose of the Philistines but my many peoples who were Libyans, Philistines, Phuntites who took over the Mediterranean world by storm.

Canaan was the youngest son of Ham. His descendants were the Canaanites who inhabited Canaan (modern day Israel/Palestine), they spoke a Semitic language called Kancaani (Canaanite). The Canaanites are usually mistaken for their brothers the Phoenicians and the Philistines who lived in the area and sometimes conquered it.

The Canaanites were the native people of Canaan and the Phoenicians (Phutites from Phunt) were foreigners so were the Philistines.

Canaan fathered Sidon, his firstborn; and Heth, and the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the clans of the Canaanites dispersed.

And the territory of the Canaanites extended [across the Mediterranean coast] from Sidon in the direction of Gerar as far as Gaza, and [inland around the Jordan Valley] in the direction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha." - Genesis 10:15-19

Canaan fathered Sidon a modern city in Lebanon, SidSidon, according to Herodotus, was the first city founded by the Phoenicians. God prophesied of them:
"And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Sidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest." - Isaiah 23:12on's sons were: SidSidon, according to Herodotus, was the first city founded by the Phoenicians. God prophesied of them:
"And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Sidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest." - Isaiah 23:12on, according to Herodotus, was the first city founded by the Phoenicians. God prophesied of them:

"And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Sidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest." - Isaiah 23:12

Canaan also fathered Heth. Heth became the father of the Hittites and they ruled Anatolia until they were dispersed and replaced by the Indo-European late Hittites.

Early in Scripture, mention is made of the Hittite tribes dwelling in central Palestine (Genesis 15:19-21, 23:3-7, 10, 16-20, 27:46; Numbers 13:29; Deuteronomy 7:1-5, 20:17; Joshua 3:10). The Hittites were apparently the first nation to smelt iron. The Armarna tablets contain letters that were sent from the Hittite king Suppiluliuma I to the Pharaoh Amenhotep IV.

Rameses II also tells us how he engaged the Hittites in what was the earliest recorded battle involving massed chariots. This was the famous Battle of Kadesh, and it appears that the Hittites got the better of the Egyptian forces. Heth's name was perpetuated in the Hittite capital Hattusa, near modern Boğazkale in Turkey.

ittites in the Americas?
The only dark people anywhere on the face of this planet bearing the name Hatti or Chatti (that is, Hittites) are amongst the American Indians. Europeans first encountered them in New England and in the plains of America. The inter-tribal name of the plains confederation of the Indians was "Chatti". The main tribe was the Sioux, living in both North and South Dakota. Even today, they call themselves Očhéti Šakówį. They are an exception to the rule that the American Indians are brachycephalic (i.e. round-headed), a characteristic of Mongoloids - the Sioux are actually long-headed (dolichocephalic). Their features are quite different too. For example, their noses are hooked and longer than most Indians.

This is what is written about the "Sea Peoples" in Medinat Habu: "The foreign countries (ie. Sea Peoples) made a conspiracy in their islands, All at once the lands were removed and scattered in the fray. No land could stand before their arms: from Hatti, Qode, Carchemish, Arzawa and Alashiya on, being cut off [ie. destroyed] at one time. A camp was set up in Amurru.

They desolated its people, and its land was like that which has never come into being. They were coming forward toward Egypt, while the flame was prepared before them. Their confederation was the Peleset, Tjeker, Shekelesh, Denyen and Weshesh, lands united. They laid their hands upon the land as far as the circuit of the earth, their hearts confident and trusting: "Our plans will succeed!"

Amurru was the Egyptian reference for the Hamitic warlike Amorites in Philistia.
