This is a lie. How can a nation be strong if the war is won by foreigners? This makes no sense to me.

Tbh, I don't see these foreigners making a change for Somalia in any way. Somalia would be better off without these foreigners who 'supposedly' claim to help. They are only there to earn money...

yes, walaalo, somali tribes stoped fighting and Alshabaab doesn't have any place to hide except in the deep forests which soon will be cleaned by the gov.
Somalia is in a peace now, only a very few accidents remain and might happen here or there.but people still remember the old crisis and couldn't believe how things going so fast.

Before 20 years ago, Somalia was an independent country that required no help, nor should it require any right now. Somalia will soon rise again!

Al-Shabab has goner nowhere. If things are so great, why is AU sending in another 10,000 mercenaries? Because they know al-Shabab is still in control of over 90% of the country. It would take 20 years to wipe out al-Shabab. Like every other place with similar problems like Afghanistan there is no military solution. As time goes on, al-Shabab is very likely to get stronger. They have support in Kenya and Tanzania. Everywhere in East Africa where there is a Muslim majority, al-Shabab is already there. If they could force al-Shabab out of Somalia, and they cannot do that, the war would go to Kenya and Tanzania. It is dumb lie that al-Shabab is defeated. It is wishful thinking.

Remember when Dumb-Dumb Bush claimed he had won the war in Iraq? That war is still smoldering 10 years or more later.

Alshabaab controle 90% of Somalia,hahahah,
are you dreaming??that is a day dream Mr AA.
be logic.
Alshabaab didn't control Somaliland and also puntland.that is 50%.
Alshabaab didn't control the middle regions like Gulmudug and Xemen iyo Xeeb, they also run from kismayo, bedawa and merka.they are in a few pockets in the southern forests.
also they didn't control Benadir Region which the Capital is with in it.
you should under stand the mentality of the Somalis.
they are only there while the different tribes are fighting together for power sharing conflects.during that period every shit could be there including the AMISOM.
btw,somalia isn't Afganistan,you miss calculate that...

Their base is now in Kenya and Tanzania. This is guerilla warfare. If Kenya sends troops to Somalia, al-Shabab attacks them in Kenya. A l-Shabab did not Pan-Africanize this war Ethiopia did. Tribalism has no meaning in this new context.

What I think is happening is the Somali nation was built by Siad Barre. It exists deeply in the hearts and minds of the people inside Somalia as well as in the Ogaden and Kenya. But the Somali Diaspora is systematically targeted and brainwashed to oppose Siad Barre's socialist state and also to oppose al-Shabab's Islam. But that does not matter at the end of the day because people on the ground in Somalia still know the truth and that is as long as Siad Barre was in power, there were no famines in Somalia.

But the enemy thinks can divide and conquer. He targets Somali refugees in Ethiopia and Kenya. But al-Shabab is not overly concerned with Somali refugees in Ethiopia and Kenya. In Ethiopia and Kenya, al-Shabab's focus is on the Muslims regardless to tribe. This means that when the war comes to the refugee camps in Ethiopia and Kenya, half of Ethiopia and half of Kenya will rise up against their own governments. W hen the dust settles and the war is over, there will be a Greater Somalia PLUS all the Muslims in East Africa United under One Islamic (and possibly Socialist)Government. This will take another 23 years to happen. But it will happen. There is no turning back now. It is too late already.
